Standing at the edge of the lake, a man saw a woman flailing about in the deep water.

Unable to swim, the man screamed for help.

A trout fisherman ran up.

The man said, “My wife is drowning and I can’t swim. Please save her. I ll give you a hundred dollars.”

The fisherman dove into the water…

In ten powerful strokes, he reached the woman, put his arm around her, and swam back to shore.

Depositing her at the feet of the man, the fisherman said, “Okay, where’s my hundred dollars?”

The man said, “Look, when I saw her going down for the third time, I thought it was my wife. But this is my mother-in-law.”

The fisherman reached into his pocket and said, “Just my luck. How much do I owe you?”

Good evening gang.

We got 6 or 8 more inches of snow in the last couple of days. Had a lot of drifting and now it is cold. My phone says going down to -2 tonight. I am tired of it.

Rob - I don't care much for either team. I don't like the big mouth Sherman or the crotch grabber so I will root for the Patriots. I think they will win 28-24.

James - great jokes.

Wendell - nice pics.

Well even though Seattle has a few VA boys on there team like Russell Wilson and Nick Sorensen who also played at VA Tech and Cam Chancellor who also played for VA Tech and is a member of the Legion of Boom. He is known for his astonishingly hard hits, hence the nicknames "Bam Bam Kam" and "Kamtrak" and who I meet one day at Tech he was in training for the NFL draft I was watching him and he was standing flat footed and jumped up on a 42 inch table 10 times in a row I said wow I am impressed upon which he replied I got to get better for the NFL he than talked to me about his training and his time at Tech he was very polite in answering all of my curious ?

But than there is the Patriots Tom Brady with a win would have 4 Super Bowl rings and in a 15 year NFL career has 78% win percentage thats better than any other QB yes Linkous better than that Cowboy Starbuck but there center number 62 has the best name in the NFL so I guess I am pulling for the Pats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we are about to watch the game! WOOOooHOOOo!
FIRST THOUGH... Prayers to ALL!

Good weekend at mums, busy but good. One of my best friends came by Mums and we had some cake... it said "Happy Birthday to Us" It was made in Chinatown... Diana is Chinese... AND... when they asked how to spell US... she was hysterical. LOL.. We try to do our Bdays together any yr we can and it worked out she could visit then. YAY! (I'm 2/4/60 and she is 2/11/60) FIFTYFIVE!
WIll work on pix this week. MORE SNOW TONIGHT and TOMORROW! We are in the 6-10 or so range with Milford, where Bob works in the jackpot range again, along with my Mum's area... Oh Goodie... Bob clearwed shed roof in advance cause HEAVY WET stuff this time. In Brookline where mum lives roads were mostl 1 lane and snow covered... SLICK as can be, I had FUN with the Jeep in there...LOL... Boston was better in that the rds where cleared BUT SO NARROW! here will be NO rds after another storm. EVeryone has cancelled class etc... Oh GOODIE.
We are just happy the cable is on now...cause it was OUT yeasterday! Bob worked on it...and somehow it's working for the GAME!

Well I don't know what Bert and Bob pulled on Lyndell but it must have been a good one

Dad putting a coon in the bag funny thing when Dad got the coon to put away the hounds knew play time was over kinda like in the bed of the truck with the camper top even with the lid open and the tail gate down they knew not to get out till it was okay to do so

Little One

Yep that was his name when he was a pup his Mon got sick and at 2 weeks old my Mom bottle feed him because he had no name yet my Mom started calling him Little One and it stuck he turned out to be a big hound people often asked Little One why did you name him that he is a horse and all tough he was killed when I was 17 this dog became the dog I gauged all my others dogs he thought me that a dog could be a great strike dog a great track and a pressure tree dog that had the meat all in one package I have several stories about him he was and still is the only dog I have ever had that had never seen a coon before in his life but at the age of 8 months treed his own coon from the old dogs on his first trip to woods and never in his six short years ever ran any thing but a coon at ten months of age he went in to dogs running a deer and checked them went own and treed a coon by his self I have many more I could tell but I would be even more long winded then I am but trust me I have plenty and oh that picture of my dad's friend that dog up on the tree that was his Dad
