That sounds like it might do it for those that like a little tea with their sugar! You stir it with your finger?

Mountain Pic

Is that Blue Ridge or Great SmoKey Mountains ? And what's the difference?

Posted by Bluedogman on 03-31-2011 02:38 PM:

We'll have to get that from the horse's mouth I think but my guess would be it's the Blue Ridge. According to where you are, one would be as tough to hunt as the other...I would guess.

Trappin_girl, "tea mix" might be the key words here. I guess if you add enough sugar, anything tastes good. Who says Redbone and English can't get along together? Just look at that picture, side by side. Bond/Linkous, this could be an important weekend. Mr Richardson, am I the Black Sheep? What have they been telling you? My feelings are hurt. You haven't invited me up. Mrs Castle, do you know what an Ice Pick is? Down here in Tennessee we drink Moon Picks, made with Sun Tea of course. Talk about a picker upper!!!! Mr Williams, I guess that it is nesting time.

It's Johnny! Thanks! It IS here anyway. We are a few weeks ahead of some of you with the flowering and bird nesting and so forth.

Thanks, My girlfriends family has a camp in Pennsylvania they call the Allehganey Mountains. I just thought the Smokies were west of Ashville and the Blue Ridge was east but I doubt that's how they're mapped out.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 03-31-2011 06:42 PM:

Yea, the Smokies, Alleghany, Blue Ridge and several others are all just a very small part of the Appalachian Mountains. The Appalachian Trail starts in Ga and goes up thru the Smokies and then on up into Va. Wendall, Rex Griffith lives in a log cabin on the side of Cold Mountain(from the movie). He has some nice views. I don't hunt at his house any more. You need a gallon of cold sweet iced tea after making a drop with him. Bears come up on his front porch occasionally.

NOW>.. PLEASE tell me I don't have to call you KING Richard also! Can't do it... my dad was RIchard and my oldest son is Richard... I'd HATE to have to say KING Richard! LOL...

APRIL FOOLS!

I think that is what most people must call us FOOLS who live in New England...LOL... SNOW on the ground here... and we are way South of where the snow line was SUPPOSED to be! My son Richard is expecting over a foot in Western MA! lol Our middle son will get a good deal in Central MA too. We are right on the MA/RI Border... and NO clue now what we'll get so Bob just ran out and put the plow on my SUburban. OUr youngest son is here at home... probably hoping for a SNOW day! lol... Bob said there is about a half an inch on the suburban... Spring?
It was GLORIOUS today! I was in and out with the dawgS. Web came home last night...not sure if I posted that yet. He is on his new meds and doing pretty well NOW. He was still staggering till afternoon so I had to supervise them closely. Little Daisy would jump on him and he'd fall right down. As much as it would have been CUTE any other time... it was not so funny today. We will have him on the new and old meds trying to wean him off the old meds that seem to make his jerks worse. Of course the new meds are THREE times a day and you have to be good about the timing so you dont cause a seizure... I'm even more chained to the house than ever...
Luckily Webster is great about the pills and even Dylan can give him the pills in a MARSHMELLOW! lol...
OK.. gotta see wassup and get some rest if I CAN tonight. I have 2 black eyes from fatigue. Bob pointed it out when he got home from work...I looked in the mirror and wanted to RUN from that tired old HAG looking out at me! LOL...
Hope to see some MORE hunting pix from tonight WHO is gonna get out there????
HappyHunting Heather
