Common problem. The DC 40 has to go back to Garmin as the electronics have went bad.

My collar isn't that old I busted my 320 and bought a 220 and did the updates on the garmin download ain't worked right ever since

It's like it is updating but not showing his track but it never looses communication with the collar

If you have two collars then swap the antennas around on them and see if that helps.

Well I just updated my software and it said everything was successful. Now the compass is blank with no information on it.

got a question about transfering waypoints and nobody i've talked to seems to have same issue i do and they think i'm crazy i believe. heres the issue: i have all my waypoints saved on basecamp which i transfered from my alpha. well its seems everytime i transfer them to a couple of the guys i hunt with 320 on basecamp they dont show up on the 320. through basecamp i can tell that they are on the 320 but dont show up on the screen. only way i have found to get them to show up is to do a hard reset on the 320. then they show right up, i've called garmin about this issue and i am ejecting the unit as they tell me to but this doesnt fix it. anybody else tried to this even heard about this, for sure its not just me. thanks

Sam the compass will be blank until you turn on a dog collar.
Then it will know where it is and point to it.

map card

just got anew 32o looking to buy a map card . looked at gundog and garmin sites .and other places and there all 99 for the one i wont . but i also saw some other places . one has a site on ebay its a dog supply place , they range from 15to 19 , for what they say is the same card , any one ever buy one of these and did they work

Alpha was working fine earlier tonight then it shut off & will not come on at all. It's been on charger for about 2 hours now & still nothing. Any ideas??

DC 40

My DC 40 is loosening its GPS signal , I've put a new antanna on it & update it .im thinking I'm going too have too send it back too garmin?
Any ideas?

do I have something turned of? Also noticed that mine does not show big body's of water swamp, lake ?

DC-30 QUESTION

I BOUGHT THIS COLLAR USED. CHARGED IT AND USED IT ALL NIGHT THE FIRST NIGHT. THE SECOND NITE, IT DIED ON THE DOG AN HOUR INTO THE HUNT. CHARGED IT, UNIT SAID FULL CHARGE. I UNPLUGGED IT OFF THE CHARGER AND A COUPLE MINUTES LATER, BOTH RED LIGHTS COME ON AND STAY ON. I UNPLUGGED THE BATTERY AND LEFT IT FOR A MINUTE PLUGGED IT BACK IN AND RED LIGHTS SHUT OFF. WHILE I HAD IT APART, I PUT ANOTHER BATTERY IN IT FROM A COLLAR WITH ALOT FEWER HOURS ON IT. PLUGGED IN CHARGER, BLUE LIGHT COMES ON, IT CHARGES 4 HOURS OR SO BLUE LIGHT GOES OFF, BUT COLLAR WON'T POWER UP. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. <v>

Mr. Allen which model Garmin it this on and it there a pink line between them. What is the ICON a symbol of? A push pin, flag etc.

If there is a pink line between then stop navigation.
Blue push pin, turn off and back on and it should be gone.
blue flag then delete the waypoint you assigned to the flag

Hey Bruce last night when I went to menu to where it says start new hunt it was not there I have been all over it menu advanced everything I know of its not there how do I get it to come back up? Dc 30 collar 220 astro
