Lost a good one today T'Top has past away and as I set here and remember all the good times we've had I just can't help but wonder what it is going to be like tonight when he meets up with his brother and father and my good friend that got me started in coonhunting who past away a few years back from lou garrets and wonder what a time they are going to have tonight up in heaven , I know he will enjoy them as much as I have , I can see him smiling now , so as I shed a tear I just can't help from not be happy also because I know they will carry on both here and heaven , have a good one my friend I will be listening.

so sorry to here about t-top Rodney, I know he meant a lot to you and everyone that has a pup out of him. He will be missed greatly but he was tired and ready to go on. I know you got a lot of great memories of him and Quigley and copper, I know this bc of the great stories you have shared with me on the phone and all the hunts we been on together. So R.I.P. T-TOP I know you are looking down upon us today!

I had the pleasure of hunting w this hound not to long ago he was on up n age and gettin silver headed..we unsnapped him and a 2 yr old son of ttop..ttop treed w the meat and the young dogs didnt know wat happened..the ol man had one more trick up his sleeve as a farewell gift to us...im not sure but that may have been the last coon rolled out to ol ttop...and i was blessed to be there..im sorry rodney..it proly wont help but the female i have has some of that breeding in her and we will get together on a good stud and see about gettin you a pup..may not help but its the least i can do...

Rodney is a fine a fellow as u will meet..my truck is on its last limb and rodney has came down a many of night to my house and picked me up and take out a hunting..then take me back home..and he lives a good 35 min away..if ive never said thanks..now i am..thanks bud..its been a pleasure huntin w you...i really enjoy it...we have had some dandy hunts and got our ass wet in pouring down rain and boots filled up with ice water...but i know u will keep crankin and get that blood back on top...hanks big guy for all your help and advice...

Thanks guys it really means a lot, if it wasn't for these old hounds I might not of got to meet some good friends like you fellas . I have been blessed and it is hard to lose a hound especially the ones you have raised and trained from a puppy but I know as one chapter closes another one is opened and I just hope I get to meet many more good friends like you fellas through these old hounds . Thanks again fellas .

Rodney like you said when one door closes another door opens. I tell myself that alot. Like that pup of mine got poisoned and I got a sister to the pup I had and its a prettier dog and got a better mouth. But one or these pups you have now could be the next dog to head your kennel. But Rodney in march I'm getting my TN license so I can come hunt with all of yall

Well didn't do so well at hunt last night , dog absolutely looked like garbage could have done better with my 7 month old pup man I was so aggravated , I know one thing if thing don't change pretty quick the tulip pile is fixin to get a lot bigger around here . I hate to put time in a dog that has got what it takes to be a real nice hound but act plum stupid when you take him to a hunt and hunts nothing like he is capable of doing , I will give him the benefit of the doubt this time only and I mean only because they was a bitch dog seemed to be smelling a little bit that he couldn't seem to get away from but I want make excuses but about one more hunt like this and I will be hunting 7 month old pups for good .

you sound pissed off bout that hunt last night wish you could have done better but if somebody was hunting a female that was in heat then they should have got discharged from the hunt, I know ol johnboy has got what it takes to tree that coon but every dog has a bad night. shoot i just wish i had enough confidence in my dogs to hunt em in hunts.lol but maybe i will one day!!

you know as well as i do this time of yr can be tuff on a young dog...heck im hunting a grntch thats done alota winning and she is struggling right now from bn laid up and off pups..last night was definetly a training and tuning session!!!!!!! lmao!!!!!!! but we will keep them in the timber and get them right..make em or break em...stay with him alittle longer til the weather breaks...which is funny coming from me bc i expect a dog to operate wen there suposed to and im more impatient with a dog thatn most people...lol...let me know wen you wana cut em...im ready...me an jug is gona try a few drops tonight if i was smart id stay home with momma and put another log on the fire...haha..never been to **** smart anyway
