Got a text last night that Brandon Gudgeons Tramp pup (Jet x Mindy) treed his first solo last night. Tramp is 8 months old and I realize its not a record or anything, but in the snow and cold it is a pretty good thing.

Ryan Johnson's Grand Nite Lizzy female was bred to Jet last week. The first cross only had 2 pups and they are nice pups. Ryan may have a few to sell if she has enough.

Robbie Brook's Cheesehead female took and is due in 2 weeks. Robbie may have some available.

Stuffy--Does it look like Jenny took?

Dad put a Nt.Ch. win on Gunsmoke last night and his sister Lady got a 1st. Jason Speich got a 2nd on his Booty female. Another good night for the blues. I had one of the most enjoyable casts I have been on. Dave Marsden, Curt Gilbertson, and Darrell Barker were in my cast and it was truly a good time. thats the way it should be. We all had fun and treed some coon.

Derek from Nebraska sent me a message that the Jet and Annie pup opened on track and treed some his first night in the woods out there. Derek is a good hunter and will surely give the pup its due.

Sounds like you guys had a good weekend. Glad to see blue pulling in the wins. Take good care of Jet, I would still like to get a pup down the road out of him. Sky, the mother to Echo, treed the cougar for me back in about 1998. Wished I could have kept her, but I was covered up in dogs, and didn't want her to sit around and not be used.

Yes, it was an awesome experience. Wish I would have had a cell phone with a camera back then....any camera would have been nice. Kinda makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck when ya flip the spotlight on and there's a set of golfball sized green eyes looking down at ya!

I want to get some pics of the tree and post them. My daughter took some last weekend but the sun was wrong and they didn't turn out very good.

Ron Dekoninck of Ft. Wayne, In. emailed me a pic of his male pup off Jet and Gert. He calls him Timber Crushing Boomer. Ron says he is doing a good job and seems to be a natural treedog.

Can you send me the dates the zone hunt again. I am gonna try and make that work to come up. I am bailing on blue tick days though. Couple of us in my archery club booked a bear hunt instead of our yearly hog hunt so i need to save a little cash. Have a good one.

Sorry for not replying earlier. Wife and I just got back from Cancun. We were there for a week on vacation.

Jet and Gert cross so far looks to be a really good one. Everyone is very pleased with their pups. I know a couple pups owners have been contacted by a gentlmen in Iowa about selling theirs and will not. At this time we plan on breeding Gert again this summer.
