Just got home from the Dr.'s office,returning back to work in the office on light duty in 2 weeks.Pretty excited to try and get going again.Still on the cain and the femur bone isn't healed yet but it is healing.

On a side note,when I went out to feed Baby Six last night she was starting to come in heat.We will be useing one of the straws from GRNITECH CH STILLWATER FARM'S BLUE IMAGE on her.Dean Bitzel at Nevergone has a very high success rate so hopefully Craig and I can make this cross happen.

If you guys are able to get some pups out of that cross, the only hurdle I can see you having to overcome is getting them to go hunting! LOL

Dropped Baby-Six off yesterday at Nevergone so hopefully everything will go as planned.

Still planning on having the get-together pleasure hunt the Thursday night before Autumn Oaks.Anyone coming to Autumn Oaks that can come a night early is more than welcome to come on over and join us.There are usually several that stop in for the get together and we definately have a good time and it's perfect to let one stretch it's legs a bit the night before.Hunt them alone or pitch them with a few others,we don't care,we're prolly gonna be busy giving Eddie Harpe a hard time anyhow.LOL. See you all in a few weeks.

Hello Kerry,Robert's right,she's being bred to Image.Gonna make a half brother,half sister cross,both are out of ole Legend.I raised them both from pups planning on making this cross someday.They both finished into solid,coon treeing dogs with the gear I like to see in one.Hopefully one of them will take the place of Image now that he's gone and be Legend's future replacement....He's not getting any younger and I'm just trying to look ahead.

It was good to see everyone this weekend.Another good year for the Thursday night get-together before Autumn Oaks.As always,plenty of laughs and gigging going on(mostly to Eddie Harpe).

Congrats to Eddie and Crockett for winning there cast lastnight in the Grands at Autumn Oaks but unfortunately they didn't have a high enough score to place in the Top Sixteen.

Had an enjoyable pleasure hunt last night with Sparkey,Paul Toth,and a few new faces,Keith and Joe.We treed 4 singles and the dogs looked pretty good.

My new project also arrived Thursday and I'm looking foward to playing around with him this fall.He is a 4 1/2 month old full brother to Image from the 2nd cross.Thanks again to Craig Cooper for everything.I really like this pups looks and actions.He's a friendly little fella and is settling in well so far.I think I'm gonna call him Prodigy.

Thanks again to all that came and I hope you all stay safe on your trips back home.

Thank you for allowing me to turn my poticker loose a couple times. The little fella sure didn't look as well as I wished he would have, but a few more trips to the woods should aid in dusting off some cob webs. Darned ole woodlot coons!! LOL

It was very nice to put some faces with names & meet some folks. I sure had a blast!

Give that ole blue haired pup a scratch behind the ears for me Tom, I kinda like the little feller!

Been playing around with the new pup the last couple of nights.He will be 5 months old next week and doesn't hunt out real well but tonight he split treed 10 ft from the old dog and they both had a coon.I was pretty impressed with the little fella.The next drop,the old dog run off and ditched him so when he came back I was gonna put him in the truck and I seen a coon sitting up so I thought "what the heck" and eased him over by it just to see.The little fella got to working around,found it,and loaded up treed.

THANK YOU AGAIN Craig Cooper and Justin French.I really needed this little dude to light the fire again and he has done that for sure.I'm really enjoying him and I truly appreciate you guys giving me the opportunity to have him.Thanks again guys,I owe you both.

I took a few videos so I'll try and load them up in the next few days,he's gonna be a pretty treedog.

Took the Prodigy for a few strolls last night alone.He is starting to range out a little better and is progressing.Hoping to get him on a few tracks out of the cornfields but no luck yet.He did tree on 2 big oaks but I never found a coon on either.Still young and work in progress.

I came home to put him up and Legend was wound up and feeling good.Most know he has been down for about 6 weeks with a broken bone in his front foot and an infection in the bone but I started him on some different antibiotics and they seem to be helping.Turned him twice and he made two oaks and found them both pretty quick.....I've always said they're easier to find when they are there.Prodigy has a long way to go but is a good acting 5 month old pup and Legend is just like me.......out of shape,grey headed,and a bum leg right now,but we both still like to go once in a while and get after one.LOL
