Jonathan Christmas stud dog auction

Hi Brock and James- I was the high bidder on the S7 stud fee that you donated for this fund raiser. I don't know if it's likely that I'll ever get a certificate proving it though. Hope that's not a problem.... I would like to breed a female that is a Nt. Ch with one win that is out of Duelin Dan and is Kansas bred on the bottom. Has anyone made a similar cross yet? If so, what are the results? This female has a good bawl on track and hard chop on tree. Stays put and is independent when she should be. Thanks, Doug Androli

You don't need a certificate. John Davis & Ron Maggart made the two closest crosses to this. John's female only had two pups. Ron's only raised 3 I believe. I have one from Ron's female. She's a littermate to Kansas Hayes. He's about 11 months old, and is doing a pretty good job. Making a nice tree dog. John Davis has a pup from this litter also. He would be the man to talk to about his litter. He kept a male and started him.

Smokey 7 has been sold to Tony Barnes. I will still post on here from time to time about his pups. I recommend anyone with a nice female to consider S7 when looking for a stud. He is currently #7 on the reproducers list, and will be climbing the list. Thanks to all you guys that have taken a chance on breeding to him, or hunting a pup out of him. We've been blessed to own such a fine hound.

Congratulations to Don Martin and Kizzy (S7 x KS Smokin Lizzy) for a 1st place win at Greencastle, IN last night. Kizzy had 675+ and no minus. All the other dogs had minus and 2 withdrew, but Kizzy was able to win the cast by 12.5 points. Don said it was a tough, but fun hunt.

And for some not so good news, Jamie Patterson had to have NiteCh Get Nasty put down. It's a shame, h was a super nice young hound. He put him in 4 hunts and had 4 first place wins.
