Sorry hunt last night, made 3 den trees and hunted pretty much ankle to half knee deep water and Honey had to work hard to put a tree at the end of the tracks !

Amos X Magic pups

These are the two pups i picked up last Sunday at Gary Uchtmans, they are out of his Amos male out of Bodacious and his Magic female out of Zeb, she is a full sister to Albert Again, the little gyp is mine and the male is my Buddy"s !

Thanks for the Compliment guys, these pups sure have a nice big horn on them young as they are and a nice appetite to go with it !!! LOL Scott that"s my plans to get this one going good before old Honey leaves this world, another one of my friends that i hunt with is a dyed in the wool Walker man and he"s been coming and picking up Honey a couple of nights a week to train his 8 month old male with, he said their is"t a better pup trainer than he knows of in any breed than her and he wants that pup kept on the right track ! LOL

Hoss

Hoss Is Now In KY
Hoss is out of Herbie Sky female( by way of Luke ) and Horn ( by way of Amous ). Trent wasn't able to hunt so we sold Hoss to Herbie and he has hunted him 4 nights in a row and owned him for four nights. We wish my good friend the best of luck with Hoss. Dave

You can make the best cross in the world and if the pup does not get in to the hands of a hunter it don't mean anything. We have been lucky that alot of the Logan sired pups have got into the hands of hunters. Some of the best crosses so far have been the crosses on a Jaggs daughter, a Bogie daughter and with Cami who is out of GrNiteCh James Earl Ray.

Here's the first tree last night.



Herbie (Logan X Cami) on left. She has turned into my pup trainer at 15+ months old. I have several lesser young dogs to run her with which should give her confidence into the future.
On the right is Dog Gun it MO Blueberry Short Kate 18 mo. old.......Next to Herbie you see why I called her short Kate. Kate is from Gary's Kennel out of Again and Dixie (Zeb X GRNT Magies whistlin Dixie). Kate is just starting, she's coming on quick; excellent nose and hard tree dog.

This pair of young females puts a smile on my face.

We have crusty snow here and there too. Kate was a little gimpy last night on her feet. We were suppose to get some cold weather and a few inches of snow this weekend but it looks like we are going to have a warm up next week. This has been one of the best coon seasons ever in NY.

Its snowing here and I went to a hunt tonight. Its 10:30 and I'm already at home in the recliner. Maggie treed a opposum in the first ten minutes she treed one when she was two years old and hasn't treed one since. Until tonight. But she done a good job on it. Ha ha!

No I had him put to sleep July 2010 he was thirteen. There's a few dogs out of him stil around but I don't have any. I have some that has some of our old blood in them. I think about ol crank a lot. Mostly when I see a dog struggle to move a track. I'll think boy ol crank would have done got that out of here by now. But anyways give me a call sometime and come over for a hunt.

supposedly this dog was Utchman bred. Yall know how dog papers are though. Does she look like it ?
