hello mike's stinger x diamond pup is doing a good job. we got in some more good pup training today. matt has a toby x katie male he calls toby after his dad that is really looking good. that whole litter has done well as far as i know. he looked impressive again today. i saw don's stinger x lou pup today, tried to talk him out of it.but he still has him. nice looking pup. reminds me a lot of ben. the weather man is calling for rain tonight we need it, is really dry here. have a good one dennis

guys stinger is throwing some nice young dogs that start early,i have 2 here in al. with me .not only do they start early but they are easy to look at,good mouths,lots of hunt and natural tree power.matt pups due in 4wks. out of diamond and jim.i still have not started back hunting yet.try and stay cool.

Dennis, I like the stinger x Diamond cross too.my female reminds me of my old smokey female off of Smokey and Ragin Bull.powerful track dogs.
Willie Stinger is going to make a great impact on the breed his hounds are on the good looking side some with coarse hair though,that comes from Ellis Blue Jim.Bryan your annie cross should work alot of old sage breeding in the whole pedigree.
good luck hope you get some rain should help them young ones run.

Bryan,

We can use some rain here.I did let some of my hounds go yesterday four went to NY to be used on big game.last year I took stud fee puppies and I really over loaded my self.I have a few more that i`m going to let go on half interest these are pick of the litter pups.i`m getting great reports on young ones out of stinger on every cross.its hard keeping such great hounds and letting them waste away,so if you know anybody i will sell straight out or partners as long as they are getting hunted.
I have two females in heat now and I just can`t see breeding them this cycle,I know i sure have enough dog power to last me a few years without making another cross.
I think the annie and stinger cross is going to end up being a good cross.how is Boomer coming along?
I did get a real nice male out of stinger and my old sadie mae female back it took some time to get the deal worked out.
sadie is the mother of Turbo Blue.I love his mouth he was born last year in jan.he needs hunted by himself and is at the right age he sure can do it by himself he split twice sunday night when i tried him out.I think he is going to something special.i`ll know more when i get to hunt him more.

hi matt we had a 4 hour chase today. skipper ran with blue and rocky for a couple hours before she started falling back. she made it to the end of the chase though. pretty good for an eight month old pup. blue finaly treed the bear. i couldn't tell who was more tired the bear or dog. skipper has been cold trailing some with the old dogs. i believe she is going to make a good bear dog. looks like annie is coming into heat, i left her home the last couple days. i have to go back to work next week so the dogs will get a much needed rest. had a great time with matt and mike. they are talking about coming back later. hope you could make it then. dennis

This cross is starting to turn some heads they were born 10- 23-2008.
Hows big jim doing ?I bet he is still growing ,he is such a likable hound good natured all the way.I don`t ever remember when he came back in he always seemed to get treed somewhere.

Shane you and Billy Kooser picked a real nice bred female to breed to Kidd for his first litter.I think it will be a outstanding cross.

Glynn,you picked a nice stud for Dixie,should be some nice looking pups for sure,the only problem is I`m full here and I would love to get one from each litter.What do you have left forsale?
Mike I`m glad your female caught I was wanting to breed a female that has the Uchtman hounds that your female has I`m sure this will be a great cross Smokey River and Uchtman has worked for years.

MY NEW MALE.

I have a new male here out of Stinger and Sadie Mae,this young hound sounds just like Ellis Blue Jim I love his bawl mouth he can sure move a track and will get deep by himself in a hurry.he is getting the one on one.we walked out of the timber this morning it was 6:05 and i didn`t need a lite. I like him real well so far.give me 1 month with him and i think I`ll have something worth bragging about.LOL
I`ll post some pictures of him real soon he is another good looking hound off of stinger not perfect by no means but nice.

YOUNG MALE,

I turned him twice and seen the meat both times he is turning it over pretty good and he has a real nice loud chop on the tree.
I dropped Lou once and I counted three kittens in her tree.
what I`m seeing from stinger off spring is independent, balanced will finish a track and the ones i have here seem to have the coon when they get treed.females are running around 45 to 60 lbs.and the males are around 55 to 75 lbs from stinger.

I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU GUYS FOR LETTING ME KNOW HOW YOUR STINGER YOUNG ONES ARE DOING.I LOVE HEARING THE GOOD AND THE BAD,DAVE SMITH IN NY HIS 9 MONTH OLD OUT OF STINGER AND UPSONS COOKIE WAS LEADING THE RACE FOR A FEW MILES AND TREED THE BEAR CONGRATS DAVE!

hi matt we had a couple of real good chases this morning.molly started the first track. rocky trailed with her for 45 minutes before i was able to pick them up crossing into a big block i couldn't cover with one truck. the next drop blue started a track, made a big loop, back close to the road where i was able to pack rocky, skipper, and molly. it sure is neat to hear the pups join right into the chase. that bear tried to out run the dog for a couple of miles. then got into an alder swamp where he sat and fought the dogs. we kept walking towards them, would get 30 yards away before the bear would move. i finally picked them up crossing the road when i had to get home. for being 8 months out skipper and molly are turning into nice bear hounds. good hunting dennis

FETTER WILDER .

I want to say thank you to Fetter for letting me get this female back out of fly and stinger.she is everything and more and what a fire ball.she is a lean made female can push a track and I`ve seen her sit down at the tree and tree.needless to say she is turning into one classy female.
Fetter didn`t like her course hair.she is smokey river as smokey river gets.needless to say I`m liking her alot .

JBELL AND SUPER FLY

I bred jbell to Tree Daddy on july 19th and again on the 22nd.
I just returned home from breeding Super Fly to Legend.I wanted to wait till after the RQE.glad I did he scored 425 plus and came in to take third place now he has three nite ch wins, and now his first female bred. both crosses should be something special.I`ve been waiting for the Tree Daddy and Jbell cross.pups will be the right age for next spring.any body interested in a pup should contact me with their number.I have six spoken for now out of Super Fly.

Thanks for posting Salleys pedigree shane, this is where it all started for me.before i sold her TO Mr. Russell I bred her to JONES`S WHEELER,MOATS TENN. JIM,JET V,HER FIRST LITTER WAS FROM MOSQUITO CREEK BRUTUS.
