Hello and hope everyone is doing well, because the Lord has blessed us with another day.

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Notice in the last sentence how much Jesus loved us. He washed us in his blood and took away all our sins and made us clean. Before Christ Jewish people sacrificed bulls and goats to pass their sins off for another year. BUt Jesus shed his blood so that all of us that believe in him shall be made white as snow. He took our place on the cross and gave all he had so that we might have salvation. Christ is the only way there is no other. He tells us in Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. And believe me he is coming and what a day it will be when we are raised up to heaven with all our brothers and sisters in Christ. And notice how Jesus has made us royality by accepting him and washing us in his blood. Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. I don't know about you but I have no royal blood in me from my earthly family, but I know I am a king with Christ in my life. What Christ does for us is simply unmeasureable. Well it is Friday and I know everyone is looking forward to CHRISTmas. I know I am. My children are excited and looking forward to it. I was in the mall last night with my family and someone had shirts of Jesus with different scripture and designs forsale and so naturally we was looking them over and I asked my little girl (4 years old) who is that on the shirt? And she answered right away Jesus. Today I was sitting here and thinking about how many little children don't know him on a shirt when they seen him, or what the nails and crosses represent, or the thorny crown that was on one of the shirts. But I am tearful eyed as I know that my little girl knows him when she sees him on a shirt, but more than that she knows him in her heart and I am thankful for that. Please share the wonderful knews of Jesus with someone on this day that GOd has blessed us with. To everyone that reads or post on here have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and I am blessed to have a place like this to come and read encouraging words and scripture everyday with my brothers and sisters in Christ. THE GIFT FROM GOD

What an amazing God we serve. I had to work on Christmas but I still had a wonderful time when I got home and seen my family and their faces light up. And what a meal. But I know all of my joy yesterday was another blessing that God gave me just like all the other blessings that I am unworthy of. I am also unworthy of the free gift of salvation that he gave with his own life. But I am happy and proud to say that I know who my saviour is and I am very thankful to Jesus for saving me. I hope everyone had a good Christmas and remembered what we was really celebrating. God bless and I wish you and your families a happy new year.

This compiter has been acting "squirrely" for a few days, couldn't fet this board??????????????????????

It's really surprising how much you can miss folks that you haven't evevn met. My daily visit to this thread was really missed.

Got an ABSOLUTE reminder yesyerday that God DOES protect us ; was going to visit my brother and was a little early so my wife and I decided to stop off at a lakeside park and enjoy the scenery.

Going into the park there was a barrier in place due to Holidays,, I inadvertently did not see it and crashed through and probably "totalled' my wife's truck. The barrier broke away and we suffered no injuries. If this barrier had not broken away, I have no doubt that we'd both have been killed, there's a BLESSING and/or a lesson in every instance. God has my love and respect. I will be praying for a lesson from the incident.

I NEED SOME HELP WITH A QUESTION THAT I WAS ASKED,,,I AM NOT A PASTOR,ALL I DO IS READ THE BIBLE AND ATTEND CHURCH SO IM IN NO WAY A BIBLE SCOLLAR AND CANT ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS ,I WOULD LIKE AS MANY OF YOU TO PUT YOUR ANSWER OR THOUGHT OR OPINION ON HERE TO HELP ME OUT.HERES THE QUESTION I WAS ASKED,,IF A PERSON BECOMES A CHRISTIAN AND REALY MEANS IT,ASKS THE LORD TO COME INTO HIS LIFE,WORKS FOR THE LORD ALL THE TIME,AND KNOWS THAT THE LORD HAS FORGAVE HIM OF ALL HIS SINS,LOVES THE LORD WITH ALL HIS HEART,AND LIVES A CHRISTIAN LIFE THE BEST THAT HE CAN,,,,THEN BACK SLIDES,STILL BELIEVES IN THE LORD THOUGH,STARTS DOING THINGS THAT YA SHOULDNT,HERES HIS REAL QUESTION?WILL YOU GO TO HEAVEN?OR HELL?IF YOUR SAVED ONCE ARE YOU ALWAYS SAVED,DOES GOD GO BACK ON HIS WORD?MY ANSWER IS THIS,GOD NEVER GOS BACK ON HIS WORD.I THINK {JOHN3:16 SAYS IT ALL,FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD,THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON,THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.}IVE NEVER READ ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE IF YOU MESS UP AND BACK SLIDE YOU WILL NOT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.AND NOT GO TO HEAVEN,,,THIS IS A TOUGH QUESTION FOR A GUY LIKE ME,,PLEASE HELP ME OUT THE MAN THAT ASKED THIS QUESTION SAID IF YOU DONT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE OR GO TO HEAVEN THEN GOD ISNT A GOD OF HIS WORD,,,HELP!!!!!!ME OUT !HAVE A BLESSED DAY YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST,RON GOD LOVES YA ,AND WE LOVE YAS ,

Ron, I cannot judge another man's Walk. I know that there have been times in my life where I was back-slidden, and living in the world. I am truly grateful that nothing happened to me to have my life taken from me while i was in that state.
I know that now, should anything happen to me, I have absolutely no doubts about my eternal salvation and life after death.

I know that once you are saved, your name is written in the Lambs Book of Life, the only way to have your name blotted out, is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Now, Matthew does say this:
Matthew 18:11-13

11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.[a]
12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

Jesus and that right relationship he once had with HIM is right where your friend left it. Repentance is the only way to be sure.


I know that having been saved by the Grace and Blood of Jesus, I am no longer a sinner, but a saint.

This subject came up recently in a bible study I attended. We were directed to look at Hebrews 10:26-31 concerning backsliding. That is a tough question. Good luck.

I believe once you're saved you're saved, but you must keep the faith. Everyone has had set backs/occurances were they have sinned/messed up one way or the other. I'm not sure to what extent the person has back-slidden? I believe a person can be saved, have faith/believe, do the right thing as often as they can and be a christian and go to heaven. I don't believe you need to attend church every week, preach to others/be a salesman for God to go to heaven. This is the way I see it?!?! I don't believe you become un-saved for a little slack in the rope, if you know what I mean. I just try to have fun while I'm here and keep things as simple as possible, as much black and white and as little grey as possible! I believe people complicate lots of things for themselves, we often build our own traps in life. Learning from yours and others mistakes is important! Just don't lose faith, I believe that is the key!

Ron maybe the person should read the Parable of the Sower and see where he landed. I do believe that there is more to getting to heaven than one day accepting Christ and the next 20, 30, 40 etc years doing whatever you want. I know one thing for sure Christ loves him no matter how far back he slides and that is a fact. Tough question.
