Well I'm back from Springfield------free meal and all the B.S. you could stand. Stayin' in tonite--pooped from the big day. Mike thats the best lookin' RED dog I've seen in a long time. Does he change colors? Seen a road coon this mornin' Toby----I barked at it does that count?

What a stormy night. Harrisburg got hit hard. Looks like a bomb went off in that town. So far three people dead. We had strong wind and heavy rain. No damage here. It went south of us. Don't know if Bill made it through it or not. Hope so.

Took a load of iron to Mattoon today......nice pay off. Windy here also, no fires today. Wonderful warm temps. Good thing we said a prayer for Bill.

Wind has died down here but still windy. I think I will go to Tilden Saturday night. They have a UKC hunt. Need to get Deacon a Nite Champion made. TD any thing happening in your part of the country? Rex how is that work coming along? Are you done pouring concrete yet? Chuck haven't heard from you. You panning for gold?

Just windier than you know who. I would like to run the girls tonite but I might not be able to hear 'em. Still nice and warm out here. Chuck put up a shanny shack and pan out of it.....if it don't blow over

If I get up close too the prairie, I'll have too tie a concrete block on the dog so she doesn't blow away. Short chase on wife-----she gets too the den to quick, I just get too howl. Mike when you get your fur buyers license let us know, we may do some business with you. Jeff wasn't real pleased with this years price.
