Well me and Linkous went by and got Price out of the ole folks home dang what a time we had at one point Cougar got on up the mountain about 5oo yards we both offered to go and get him and Price said no he would go get him well while me and David waited and waited and waited and waited some more after a while I said dang maybe we had better go check and see if he is a laying up there in the woods some where well finally after a while we heard Cougar stop treeing David said well he got there and sure enuff later here he came only to jump on Linkous and me with both feet he said dang don't either one of you answere your cell phone I said no I ant got no service down in this hollow Linkous said why did you need the gun Price said no I didn't think I was going to make it to him

Anyway on to drop 2 Price said you got a easy flat drop to tree a coon I said no but we could always go drop at the white pipes were upon Linkous let loose I can't repeat what he said but lets say it was a no so we turn loose dogs get struck they work up the hollow tracks getting better Linkous pulls out his garmin I said which way are they going he says up the hollow to the right I said dang it sounds like there going to the left he says garmin says right and pulling up well I said they must be echoing because they sound like there to the left to me bingo the pulled out of the hollow and were going left I said Linkous you and garmin failed lol but man what a race it was on out the side of the mountain they went boom they treed right in no mans land we told Price you stay here its steep and I knew from past experience its was going to be muddy and slick that red mud on the side of that mountain is something else me and Linkous decied to walk an old logging road to the top and than come back to the dogs that would be the best we walked back out the top and they were 80 yards below it treed and man was it steep and slick and even steeper were they was at in a den tree bummer any way I snaped dog leads together and tossed them up to Linkous to pull the dogs out off the tree its was muddy slick and awful steep 2 dogs out we decided the 2 young dogs would come on now to get me out lol

Well I got out we got back to the top but the 2 youngs dogs had come out and went hunting so were standing there waiting and Rachael strikes on out the mountain its going away from us David says what do you want to do I said well you might had as well turn the old dogs loose Price can pick us up somewhere but no he can't dang it I had the keys to my truck in my pocket I said here take the keys he said were you going to come out at I said it depends on were they end up he said you got your cell I said yea but its dead I said you got your radio he said no its at home oh well its one of them nights lol

The dogs top out oh well I head out as luck would have it they ended up back towards the road and up a hollow that has a logging road up it I walk down almost to them and sit down and listen to the music it sounded sweat as I lay there enjoying the night and the music I see David and Lyndells light a coming the dogs are a hammering its a big white pine but no matter Rickey is at home

So it was a fun night old stories about times past and lot of laughing and joking we had some times thats for sure but tonight was a blast

Prayers to ALL in need! or even if NOT in need!
I'm still exhausted from yesterdays eye Dr appt! I hadn't had a new eye doc since youth...and I had to have tests and tests...took 3 hrs... Akkkk! Then I "got to" drive home in the lovely Boston commute...Yippee. I do NOT have full blown glaucoma but have "glaucoma suspect"... Chances are if I hadn't started the drops WAY early I would have it though. The drops are keeping the pressure to a "just acceptable" level so I have to go back in 4 mos...then we SHOULD be able to get to my normal 6 mos...I hope without any new drops. Dr was very nice and he looked like he was in high school... I feel older than dirt. Even more so since it's time for bi or trifocals...LOL.. I can't wait for new glasses since mine are soldered over and over and superglued now too.... so I'm due for new ones. I can still use my sunglasses and motorcycle goggles... since I don't need to see much when I use them...LOL... (I am the passenger on the bike... and using them coonhunting-to protect my eyes they are good enough)... All the tests and concentrating hurt my neck and head... next appt will be WAY easier... I hope!
I think it was nice out today....I know I saw sun and only had a sweatshirt when I went out for mail... I also THINK some rain is coming...and tonight is supposed to be pretty cold. Since I don't have a darned thing to do out there... I realy don't know! LOL...
YOu all be good, get out to the woods, stay outta those no trespassing zones...and HAVE FUN!
