We walk about 3 miles NEARLY every morning. We miss a morning now and then. Didn't walk this morning. Yes, you are right, we see some good things to take pix of, but those cameras are heavy to carry while walking, so normally we don't carry them with us in the mornings.

Mornin, 46 on the way in this mornin.

Moultrie club had their annual Hospice benefit hunt Sat. night. Went and judged the show ( easy one, 1 male, 1 female and 1 female ch. ) and did the MOH for them. They hunted 16 dogs. They had an auction between show and hunt with alot of different items and a pile of homade cakes. Daddy rode over their with Tim and Dennis, when I went to get in my truck to come home, there was hardly room for me, I think Daddy bought 4 cakes and some other stuff. One of the cakes was a pumpkin cake, ya'll ever had any, I aint yet. The club also sold BBQ chicken plates. In the end they raised over 4000 for Hospice. Great job Colquitt Co. CHA!!!!!

Now Pumpkin PIE, that's another story. I like pumpkin pie and have had some other baked things with pumpkin in them, but never pumpkin CAKE that I recall. I'll bet it is good though!

good morning to everyone

headed up to Fredericksburg to work for a couple of days, Corky if I had to guess bond either seen a bear or the Franklin County apple pie was doing tricks again

didnt do much in the way of hunting this weekend it was windy as all get out and I hate hunting in the wind, little cool the next couple of days then they are saying up in the 70's by Friday...yee haw

seen where two deputies were killed in Grundy a few county down from us and another in life theatening condition with another in series condition. they caught the guy who did it and killed him in a shoot out...what the heck is wrong with people??? Prayer for their families...so, so sad

Here's a picture from yesterday afternoon. I think I'll call him Tokala! Looks well-fed doesn't he? That's HIS feed pan! I suspect there's more than just him coming to eat. We have seen two together cross the road in front of the house going or coming a few times. We never see more than one at a time eating though.

Johnny is that a dog training device in the pic

down the bank and across the road and up the bank was as fat as ole St Nick it was in good shape for this time of year should have no problem with putting on weight for next winter this summner

It would be a training devise if only the Blues could get to him. He knows he's safe so the hounds barking at him don't seem to be much of a concern for him.
