GTOWN was shooting 61% from the field until there was like 5 mins left. Nova was down 25 and went on a nice run and cut it to 11 but everytime they got it close to 10 Gtown hit a big 3. Perry I see you like picking on Providence and the Big East in general. When UK beat Providence bad Providence went through a rough rough stretch of losing 3 straight and a couple to bad teams. For crying out loud they lost to Brown by double digits. That is not Providence. They are a good team who went through a growing patch early on.

I would like you mighty SEC fans to do something. Providence beat Notre Dame and Miami FL easily. Now name a single team from the ENTIRE SEC that has better wins then that other then UK. Perry Providence played a very very tough out of conference schedule much like most the Big East did that's why they have a great SOS. Plus your big win over them was in your gym and that's a huge advantage. I bet the story would be much different playing at the dunkin dougnouts center.

Rupp is huge but everyone plays on the same size court with the same lines. It just takes a team with focus to win in that kind of environment.

When is the last time a team in any conference didn't lose a tough road game? That is a good basketball question.

Flyers are best team in the mid major conference they play in... maybe nova will have somthing to say about that but why can other teams lose a few and still be good team but a sec school loses a few and the whole conference sucks? ... HATERS is all....

When 3/4 of your conference hasn't made the NCAA tournament in a decade much less won a NCAA tournament game your conference as a whole is a joke. Especially as a major conference. That's not me being a hater that's the facts.

I'm calling some BIG upsets this weekend. UK going down to South Carolina, Wisconsin going down at Michigan, and Saint Johns taking down Duke.

The Big East owns the ACC this year.

I'm not sure what this means. Also Louisville is not that good this year. They will lose several games. That junior college transfer pg they have is horrible. Plus they have a pathetic 3 Point shooting team. Look how they shot against Duke and Duke has a pathetic defense.

UK is very very challenged offensively and they will run into a team like Baylor or Iowa State or Miami in the tourney that can hit the 3 ball and move the ball well. A good defense looks great against teams that can't put the ball in the basket.

because no one really cares about the conferences. Each team is stuck in a pool of teams. The cream of the crop goes to the tournament no matter what t conference there in.
