Max he has a few things going for him already, Does not set and bark all day and night in the pen, goes each and every time in the same corner of pen, first pup I have ever seen do that, broke to lead and that came from day one with collar and lead strap and no I have not used the strap on him yet Max! Corey is working him a little on the bench each day to keep him under control / mind when handled. We will start messing with him in the next week or two and see how that goes. Hope we hit the jack pot on these next two breeding's! I owe a good friend a nice female!!

Little V at (11) weeks old Feb.3rd and weight is 36 lbs. Not to the holding still age yet, curious and ready to go! His ears are still ahead of his head! LOL!

Thanks ICB. Had a good hunt tonight!! Treed 5 saw 8 total only shot out 2. Had to get Indy out of a tree again!!! He was bout 15 feet up broke over tree!! 80-85 lbs dog is too big to be trying to get out of a tree 15 feet up off the ground!! Lol Good thing he has brains and is light on his feet!! Lol

Max Indy light on his feet, come on give me a break. That tank is a beast! Hope the old boy fall and break his neck one night doing these acts! My buddy did not make it last night with Blaze, ladies night and she wears the pants! Come on Jerry I know you will say different but facts are facts! LOL! Hopefully Hanna is out of heat next week and we can get her back in the woods.

Max took little V for a run and got a few pictures of him at 12 weeks old, had him trying to retrieve with a two year old lab. LOL! Should be ready in about a month!

Max little V is craving a few things already, a little fur in his diet! Hell they all should like a little fur at that age shouldn't they? LOL! By months end we should have breed Pockets as well. Going to breed her to a pretty nice young male hound over in you neck of the woods, kind partial to good young breed hounds that can do it and do it right, especially ones that can win big time and do it prior to being 2 years old (lol). Thought long and hard about going this route for some time now. Pockets beat him on a hour hunt, 550 plus to 500 but let me tell you he is one of the best we hunted with last year at any age. Hope Miss Daisy if doing O.K.!

Little V about (15) Weeks old, and growing like a weed. Weighed him and he is now 38 lbs. It was cold and he was ready to get back off the bench, he was being a little contrary. He will get up on his toes pretty good but not today! As soon as it clears up a little the work begins, bench for manners and evening hours for working on the ringtails he likes action already! Max he got in on his first kill today, more details later!!

I hope he just turns out awesome in the woods.... super cold nose, lots of layups, treeing lots of coon other dogs never open on. Steady classy tree dog, big mouth, totally deaf pressure tree dog, 1st and 1st, etc etc etc....
