Just read an article that was saying Peterson was eyeing the vacant Cal . coaching position,Being he's native of Cal. he just may be leaving Boise,,,

As far as Boises schedule goes, you show me a team non aq or aq that has a better winning % then Boise. If having a coach that's 80-7 and won every big game under him but 1 is easy show me a coach thats comparable? Look what Boise did to UGA last year with the same offensive coordinator that Florida has this year. Boise dominated UGA and moved the ball at will but the number 2 team in the country with supposedly so much more talent couldnt even get a touchdown on UGA.

Boise lost 9 of 11 starters on defense and for the 1st time in 6 games gave up a 1st half point today. That's unreal and I don't care what league your in. Looking very possible that Boise will make a BCS game.

Again, level of competition means alot. It means nothing for a dog to beat a 6 week old pup. I mean it's six weeks old what do you expect?

Now to put a 10 month old against three GrNt's that are 5 years old and expect that 10 month old to win every time is just as stupid.

Same thing here. Expecting to be back to winning a National Championship in just two and a half years in the toughest conference in America is different than beating cupcakes.

Course Tennessee, even as bad as they were last year, made a conference champion look silly.

That should show you that the strength of competition does mean something.

Nobody has played as tough a schedule as Dooley has this year. If he wins out then I say he has deserved the right to stay.

If not then maybe he should go but to act like "wins is all that matters" is just plain stupid.

Switch schedules with Boise and Tennessee is likely undefeated this year. Big difference in the level of competition.

So your saying that if Boise has Tennessee's schedule the last 5 years they would have lost as many games as Tennessee? Your really dreaming if you actually believe that.

You act as if Boise has control over who they schedule. They play who will play them and give them a fair deal. Every year they have to travel to a opponents house.

Think a Alabama, Oklahoma, USC, etc.. will give them a home and home? Heck no they won't but better bet these sissy programs will schedule teams they know they will blast the 1st 3-4 weeks of the year.

Look at the last bug program that gave Boise a home and home. Oregon got embarrassed by Boise. Think other teams will do the same when they can just schedule GA Southern or some other FCS school and murder them?

Do you really think teams like Nevada and Air Force and BYU can't compete week in week out with teams from Major conferences?

Next year Boise plays Ole Miss and I hope Miss is good because Boise is going to dismantle them.

What teams wants to trade home and home with Boise ,,they only seat 32,000 fans ,no big progam wants to fly in there for that puny amount of money from the ticket sales. you talk about Nev. they are 6-3,SOS109,,,,BYU 5-4 ,SOS 89,,,AF 5-3 ,SOS 118,,, Those sissy programs that you speak of are HEADS and SHOULDERS above Boise and the 3 you mentioned ,, and thats the numbers for you look up or contest them .

BYU has had without question one of the toughest schedules so wherever your getting that is bs.

I know its hard for you guys to admit how great Boise State is. Once another program wins more games then them in the next decade I guess someone else can claim to be as great.

Now there isn't any way that anybody with reading comprehension skills could have came up with that from what I posted.

I said with Boise's schedule Tennessee would have won 10 games per year.

I didn't say Boise would have lost as many as Tennessee, just that their schedule was so pathetic that Tennessee would have averaged around 10 wins per season with it.

No doubt in my mind, for one we wouldn't have had near the injuries, two the level of competition is day and night.

Rip half the SEC is a joke and everyone knows it. Same teams year i. Year out. So this belief that every game is a gauntlet is laughable.

Isn't it amazing how Florida sucked last year, they get little ol Boise States offensive cordinater and suddenly they are in the national championship picture. I don't know why its so hard for you guys to admit what Boise State has done last several years is impressive.

Ummm just goes to show you that you don't know much about football.

They weren't in the discussion because of the offense, but in SPITE of it.

They were in the discussion because of their DEFENSE.

They don't have much of an offense. Their points many times come from a short field and scoring because of their defense.

Georgia beat them and their defense held them to a very low point total, something like 9 points or so.

By the same token Tennessee scored over 40 on them, but Tennessee can't win in the SEC even though they are averaging over 30 points a game. Why? They don't have a DEFENSE.

We had Boise's defensive coordinator, he couldn't hack it in the SEC and ran back to the west coast as soon as he got a chance. He wasn't used to football being so important and having to recruit so much.

Again, beating teams with a schedule that is so laughable that Tennessee would have averaged 10 wins per year after having 3 coaches in 3 years is NOT impressive.

You can't seem to grasp the fact that I have never said Tennessee was good over the last three years. They have been bad, BUT with Boise's schedule nobody would ever know they had fallen. It would look like they could just go through three coaches in three years and not miss a beat. It's not true. By the same token that schedule doesn't prove anything when another team looks good with it either.

Your comparing a team that has about one tenth of the budget of any sec school. Your comparing a team that has to play on other teams terms to get big games opposed to a conference that other teams beg to come get beat by 30 for the money. Your comparing a team that recruits totally different then the SEC I deserve everything mindset. Yea you keep cheering for the money hungry SEC programs that throw millions to steal other teams coaches and I'll keep cheering for a real coach and a real program. You SEC fans act amazed when Alabama is great and LSU. Heck I wonder why they can get any player they want and any coach. And you act impressed when they do what they absolutely should do.

Yea I'll keep laughing my butt off when teams like Boise crush Oregon and UGA. Teams like Utah embarrassing Alabama. You want to know why the BCS tries their hardest every year to to keep teams like Boise out? Look what Boise did to Oklahoma. Look what Utah did to Alabama. Look what TCU did to Wisconsin.

Im not going to even bother comparing Boise to Tennessee RIP because the two programs are on a totally different level. Tennessee struggles to be bowl eligible every year while Boise is in BCS contention every year.

Here is a few more number for you ,then i'm going to leave you alone,,,,as of yesterday Boise's opponents that they have played have a combined total of 26 wins to 38 losses ,yep your team has played some power house teams ,,,goodnight !

I will say they would compete with anyone e this year because their defense is surprisingly great. Joe Southwick is not a Boise State QB, he is average at best. They get a top QB for next year. Watch out because they have a unreal RB right now that's a freshman. Named Jay Ajayi he is averaging like 8 yards a carry and like 3 or 4 after contact. He's a beast at 6ft 220 and quick.
