Sammy went for her 1st hunt last night. Went huntin good opened on track,treed a lil and tore into it like an old dog!
She has a good mouth, plenty of Drive, and Smart..

Congradulations on Gert making the dams performance list. I think Griz should be in the top 5 points earned for blueticks this year? Hope all your pups are doing well. I lost my old Godzilla male on Thanksgiving-12years old took his last nap and didn't wake up-he will be missed.

Thanks Chad, Griz was in 2nd on the list for blues. You have done a very good job with him. At least your old dog wont have to go through this Wisconsin winter.

Jake that little female has done pretty well for as much as she's been out....havnt hunted her as of late coon ha e been tough and she started slick treeing on me more than I like so gunna hang it up for awhile. I have seen her fly past the old dog a couple times split hold pressure ,chopping 100 plus a minute with the meat. She's got it just gotta tune it in.

Here's a video from tonight's hunt. "Tramp" (JetxMindy) is 8 months old and I decided to take him along on this 13 degree night. He hasn't ever seen a coon, and tonight went out and got struck away from the other 2 dogs, and then they came and joined in the chase to help finish it. The commotion at the tree made me stop and enjoy it for a couple minutes before proceeding towards them. I couldn't believe Tramp's intensity, and thought that they might be looking at "something". They had a coon in a hollowed out limb that had broke away from the trunk and was leaning on the ground.

Tramp is the one with orange collar.
