hi matt you had better believe she is going. trainning season starts july 1. i'm off from work until the 13th. plan on hunting every day. all 3 of my stinger females will be going bear hunting. i'll keep you posted on how they are doing. wish you could come along. mike and matt will be here next week, should be a good time. don is coming along but won't be able to run around the woods. sounds like he is recovering ok though. i've seen quite a few bear lately it should be a good season. your friend dennis

I was hoping to be able to make it.It looks like i`m going to acquire another female here.i don`t want to pass her up.i don`t need another one.I have more than i could ever hunt.I want to get her to breed to Tree Daddy or Legend.If i don`t get her she will be gone alot of old breeding in her and he said she sure can run a track and i love a hound that can push a track she is only 8 months old.when I get her bought I`ll let you know more.thanks for the invite you know i like it up their.make sure you take some pictures for me to see what i was missing and tell Levi i said hi.

hi matt how's that female bred? you can never have too many good ones. if your not looking to the future what you have soon grows old and is gone. it's cooler here this week rained a little the last couple of days should be a good day tomorrow. your always welcome here. i'll let you know how the pups do. i'll see if i can get dave to bring his camera, he takes nice pictures. we left our camera in ill. in march. your friend dennis

Hounds still looking good,STINGER ,LOU ,SUPER FLY, POWDER,All looked good. sure didn`t take Stinger long to get wooded with Mr Coon.Super Fly took a old track and warmed it up and had the meat hanging.I had another good hunt and brought all the hounds home safe so it was a good hunt.

STINGER X FLY

I bought back a female out of stinger and fly.i picked her up friday morning and her and i spent all day together.tonight I took her and she is nice.she goes hunting on a dead run handles great goes her own way has a great mouth.what a tree dog for only been turned loose five drops prior to me getting her.their were only two females in this litter and Dennis Upson has the other one.
I`m tickled with this female. I can`t wait to go again.
she is going to cross great with Legend and Tree Daddy.

hi matt did you get the pictures? the pups wouldn't cooperate and stand still. hope to get better pictures next time. at least you can see what they look like. the pups are making good progress it's a real zoo trying to start 5 at the same time though. they are getting where they all go and stay. annie and skipper started a bear today by themselves. molly has made some good runs. i'm real pleased with all three. they show a lot of promise. i also have rocky and minnie that are 10 months old that are also doing good. matt n. will be here to hunt monday along with mike. looking forward to next week. wish you were here. good hunting dennis

Matt Annie is not very mouthy on track thats forsure.
On a hot track she uses her mouth just right. Cold track, well she is quiet till it warms up.
If coon aren't running she will tree the ones that hasn't came down yet! Thats what I like about Annie.

I havent had her in one since ashland she needs 10 points.I know she will make a grand.she is in heat right now.willies female is going to have pups he bred her to a son of ellis blue jim a litter mate to my fly female.

Willie said she was a natural and a real tree dog.he like s her alot.I work from 3:00 to 12:00 2nd shift but we have been working over lately.I get up around 10:00am.give me sometime,I`m not breeding powder till I get her running and treeing good by herself.I like her she is on her way to making a nice one.

pups

hi matt we had kinda of a slow day today. the bears weren't very cooperative. ran a couple but didn't get any treed. i had a trash chase with annie and skipper, blue and rocky were running so i drove down the road and tried to cut annie and skipper in. they didn't go far before skipper opened, trailed a couple 100 yards and started treeing with annie. when i got there they had a good sized coon in a spruce tree. i was hoping for at least a cub. lol. skipper seems to have a pretty cold nose. if i was coon hunting on purpose i would start hunting each one alone. i didn't take molly and minnie today because don and matt were here. mike is coming tomorrow night. have a good one dennis

bryan they treed a coon. skipper ran it annie treed with her. today skipper and rocky made a good run on a sow and cub with matt's toby dog and one of his black dogs. i didn't put annie out. later toby and rocky had another good run until it got too hot. mike will be with tomorrow, we are hunting by don's. it's harder to get the all the pups out with more dogs along. matt's toby pup is out of katie and my toby. he is really doing a great job for being a little over a year old. good hunting dennis

update

hi matt we had a real good run today. mike's stinger x diamond pup made a good run along with my girls. all the pups got a turn. the bear kept trying to cross the road, blue finally tree it deep i got 75 yards from the tree after a mile hike through a nasty swamp before it bailed. lots of good pup training again today. wish you were here. dennis

I wish I was their too.Just not enough time to do everything.I`m glad your getting your stinger females in some action.how is mike`s young male doing? good luck my powder female just coming in heat ,annie won`t be long, Diamond the other littermate was bred a few weeks ago to a son of EBJ.in ala.I`m gonna hold off on powder. I think she can be a top female if I hold off and hunt her.

I turned smoke loose last night on a coon that wandered into my garden just before dark. I cut him out of his kennel and the garden is probably 250 yards away. He ran around a few minutes, threw his head in the air, and made a bee line to the garden, the coon ran across the creek and went up a big ole cottonwood. Smoke, ran the track and treed this sucker all by himself, This is the first coon he has ever seen outside of a roll cage. HE is loud, Bawl on track and slobber chop on tree. He stayed put for about 15 mins, then i let him have it, NO FEAR in this dog. i didn't think he did to bad for 5 months old. Ole stinger and dixie might have gave me a coonhound!!!!!!!!!!!
