How 'bout 75lbs? Still it's a jumbo, I've heard of coons 80lbs up in northern Michigan. I was in Grand Rapids one time and the ol boy I was talkin' too said when he was a boy his dad and uncle would hunt in the northern part almost in Canada, and he said those coon would kill a dog if you didn't kill them first. And thats not the first time I've heard that. I'll bet Chuck's got some woppers up his way. I know one thing, Jeff's dog Moose could whip that coon's azz. I had a blue dog a long time ago that would have.

Hello this fine mornin'. Weather says 60 degrees by wed. Rain also but always better than snow. Mike how much does that big coon weigh?

Posted by chuck west on 02-22-2012 12:46 PM:

Good Morning

We have light snow turning to rain later here. The big coonweighs 75 pounds according to the pic someone sent me earlier ,,dont know for sure he's a brutr ,,lol

Posted by Mike Milam on 02-22-2012 02:17 PM:

That coon weighed in at 75lbs. That is a bear. My buddy and I killed a 52lb and a 49lb coon on a hunting trip in Minnesota. Smallest coon we killed during those three nights was a 29lb coon.

The biggest coon I've ever killed was 25lb. He had balls as big as walnuts. Ole Gem dog treed him in a fence row in an old holler log not over waist high, he must have been kin too John Holmes, cause his "toothpick" was good sized also.

It is cloudy but 64 degrees here at 2:00PM Nice

Food and Coon

My that fish and fixing look and sound good. Moose Killed one this year that was 28lb and i am sure he would try that one, he is a monster coon. Might have to toss my boy Jack in to back up Moose. Anybody that eats a hot liver out of a freshly killed deer when field dressing like Jack did just isn't right. Boy was 14, we told him it was right of manhood and he did it. Only guy or kid I ever seen do it, his Mom and Grandma was pissed at me and Andy his brother over it!! LOL

Jack grabbed a live coon one night when Tony and I first took him out. Never got bit, Moose killed that one to.

Latter Jeff
