That's what we ended up with. Looking at National Weather Online it looks like they are saying about 35 tomorrow morning and 40 Sat. I hope we don't get a killing frost but I wouldn't be surprised if we did. It's early yet.

In the hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where a family member lay gravely ill. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. 'I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news,' he said as he surveyed the worried faces. 'The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky, but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the BRAIN.'

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a time, someone asked, 'How much will a brain cost?'

The doctor quickly responded, '$5,000 for a Democrat's brain; $200 for a Republican's brain.'

The moment turned awkward. Some of the Democrats actually had to 'try' to not smile, avoiding eye contact with the Republicans. A man unable to control his curiosity, finally blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, 'Why is the Democrats brain so much more than a Republicans brain?'

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, 'It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to price the Republicans brains a lot lower because they've been used.'

Hey Folks

Finally making it on here... Never did end up raining here during the day! Just started some this eve on our way home from a wake.
Family friend I've known all my life died a few days ago. He was a dear man and great friend. I'll miss him but his presence in my life was great, I'm a better person for having known him.
Supposed to rain rain rain tomorrow... we'll see. Hope it doesn't flood badly and hurt anyone anywhere!
My son RIchard, our oldest, got elected into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society today! He was SO happy when I called him and read him the letter. It was funny because it took hours for it to sink in. He called me back a few hours later and talked about how his hard work HAD paid off... I'm very proud.... it was ALL his own work to get him there. I'm going to be a blithering idiot at his grad this Spring! Bob is very happy for him too and proud. OUr Youngest son, Dylan is in Boston at a DECA competition for school till Sat, we hope he does well and is happy with his work even if he doesn't win. our middle son, Brandon is leaving tomorrow for Canada for Spring break to film a documentary about some band... could probably use a couple prayers they stay safe... not party too much etc.
AS for politics... I don't even want to think about it right now... too tired! Will say Bob and I both voted McCain Palin!
