Nice pictures Corky! The Full moon was gorgeous going down one morning. It was straight up the highway in front our residence one morning as we walked. I started to go back and get the camera and try to get a shot but we didn't have time. I did get a picture of the moon the next morning I think but it was higher in the sky and didn't look nearly as pretty.

Just a Funny Thing I just read !!!!

WON LAWSUIT

This year's runaway First Place Stella Award winner was: Mrs. Merv Grazinski, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who purchased new 32-foot Winnebago motor home. On her first trip home, from an OU football game, having driven on to the freeway, she set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the driver's seat to go to the back of the Winnebago to make herself a sandwich. Not surprisingly, the motor home left the freeway, crashed and overturned. Also not surprisingly, Mrs.. Grazinski sued Winnebago for not putting in the owner's manual that she couldn't actually leave the driver's seat while the cruise control was set. The Oklahoma jury awarded her, are you sitting down?
$1,750,000 PLUS a new motor home. Winnebago actually changed their manuals as a result of this suit, just in case Mrs. Grazinski has any relatives who might also buy a motor home.

TOnight supposed to get colder too. I have to say this afternoons chores were fine even if it was a bit chilly. I can FEEL Spring! It WILL come this year!

Rob... nice to see you, been a while I think? Hope all's well with you... other than the AWFUL gas prices. Fuel oil killing us here... just had to pay another THOUSAND here! Been goin about.... 1300 a month... Food? Warmth? Thank Heavens we are able to get by here... Some people really struggling and we pray for them... TONS.

Apple Pie... I don't even like the smell of the beverage. Bob loves it... our apple orchard friends make it often. I don't LOVE apple pie either. I'm a Pecan and Peach pie lover. YUM! Now I'm starving! LOL...

Everyone stay warm, have a Great night and get out to the woods if you're able! (then post pix )
HappyHunting Heather

I like home made apple pie and of course peach cobbler. How can a person be Southern and not like Peach Cobbler? 'Course we don't spike it! I guess it's like grits, boiled peanuts and sweet tea though... some folks are not Southern enough to appreciate them. This does not included you Miss Feather. I know a Once-Florida-Girl has got to love the finer things in life! Do they have Pecan trees in the frozen North? We have em all over the place. Even have em sprout a sappling in the wrong place sometimes.

Woops One more

Kathleen Robertson of Austin, Texas was awarded $80,000 by a jury of her peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running inside a furniture store. The store owners were understandably surprised by the verdict, considering the running toddler was her own son

I was sweating by the end of the walk.

Johnny... not sure about Pecan trees in the Northern areas? I happen to LOVE REAL Pralines...YUM! Pecan Pie, KEY LIME PIE...Homemade by me and frozen...with NO topping. Yum.... I LOVE apple crisp... Red Snapper was always a treat down in FL. Turtle and Conch stew. Hard to remember all the stuff that was not common here. As a lil gal we always had crab and oysters from my grandfathers ches. bay seafood Co. Not my cuppa tea.

NOW... as for those law suits.. they always crack me up. People are SO DUMB! lol....

LOL... I know I say it differently from some of my own family. I say pucahn. I Drag out the second half of the word. My dad, who was from MD said it that way and I guess that was where I got it? Bob says it PeeCan if I recall..... I know tons of people around here think I talk funny lol... When I'd go to FL for the summers I would go right into a FL accent... and get teased for the first month of school back here since it would LEAVE way slower than it came

God Bless You too Reb! Have a Great night, Heather

PS... YES... there IS an R at the end of my name. Bostonians say Heatha and I HATE it! lol... NOW if a Southerner says "Heathuuh" With a slow drawl that is fine but NOT Heatha! and my maiden name "Webster" was butchered the same way. (NO the dawg was NOT named by us... HE came with the name Webster!)

Man I hope it holds off. I am planning to turn 8 dogs out in the marsh at 2 this afternoon. Kind of a last hurraw before the gators get so bad. Funny how the weather channel is always talking about somewhere else.

Evenin Fellers

And Ladies...

Gators... SHUDDER... My son and his fiancee are home this weekend and we were watching some show(a cartoon actually...) in a swamp with a big old gator. I was telling them about how some of you all have to deal with gators out hunting. They agree that coonhunters ARE insane

Warm day here, lots of melting. I Think we are gonna have rain.. but don't recall when... The critters are all getting pretty active. Seeing more nighttime movement on the cams etc. SPRING is coming SOON!

Pecan...LOL... ALl the different pronounciations of SO many words... FUN stuff! Of course NOW I want pie again... or pralines... or apple crisp or peach pie or... Hmmm... some one is hungry here!

HappyHunting Heather
