The Medicine Man

On his 74th birthday, a man got a gift certificate from his wife. The certificate paid for a visit to a medicine man living on a nearby reservation who was rumored to have a wonderful cure for erectile dysfunction.

After being persuaded, he drove to the reservation, handed his ticket to the medicine man. The medicine man slowly, methodically, produced a potion, handed it to him, and with a grip on his shoulder, warned, 'This is powerful medicine. It must be respected. You take only teaspoonful, and then say '1-2-3.' When you do that, you will become more manly than you have ever been in your life, and you can perform as long as you want." The old man was encouraged. As he walked away, he turned and asked, "How do I stop the medicine from working?"

"Your partner must say '1-2-3-4,'" he responded, "but when she does, the medicine will not work again until next full moon."

The old man was very eager to see if it worked so he went home, showered, shaved, took a spoonful of the medicine, and then invited his wife to join him in the bedroom. When she came in, he took off his clothes and said, "1-2-3!"

Immediately, he was the manliest of men. His wife was excited and began throwing off her clothes, and then she asked, "What was the 1-2-3 for?"

And that, boys and girls, is why we should never end our sentences with a preposition, because we could end up with a dangling participle.

Hey There!

RAIN RAIN RAIN here! Been going since morning(or middle of night?)... IT's hitting the ground... running and freezing in some spots. Supposed to get COLD tonight again too. Hey, it's WINTER in New England...

Been busy here the last few days. Haven't been doing anything but busy work....and reading. I got into a book and had to finish it.... a BIT obsessive I am!

Nothing interesting around here except a bit more coon action at the cams and in the hayloft. They are slimmer for sure.

Well, better catch up on here... never did get on yesterday either....

Have a GREAT night and good luck to anyone in the Comps. this weekend!!! Heather

Hello!
Sorry, I was away all afternoon! I read and replied to your e-mail about 7-ish.

Hope you get your laptop up and running and like it.

HELLO!

Woke up to a few more inches of pretty snow. Supposed to have a "wintery mix" over night and freezing rain tomorrow! Still winter... but with the ups and down and cools and warms typical of here... It was so pretty today. Didn't take pix cause I was so busy... had to do my chores and Bobs... since I FORCED him to go to the emerg. room to get his broken rib xrayed...lol.. it was indeed cracked and I got to give him a bunch of I TOld You Sos... He has been miserable for a week with it... and pushing too hard anyway... He is now on some meds and knows what to do and not do etc.
I can't believe the weekend is done! Tomorrow I will have the yapping little cur mix for the day... and NO REST at all! On a rainy cold freezing slippery day! HAHAHAHAHAaaaaa!

Look forward to flowers and such soon here!

Later, Gators, Heather
