I hunt English now but I hunted walkers for along time and im not color blind..and thinkin bout switchin back after 12 yrs...I owned GRNTCH buck creek hammer mac I bred him with not to good a results on the pups and don't think he threw much besides the Clifford dog..but on another note that dog could make dogs look stupid on any kind a track..on a colder track they would be boo hoo here boo hoo there..he would drift that track out have it treed opening about every 150 yards...he was real accurate until the bottoms got full of water...he never been hunted in swamps and standing water...but he was a super fast track dog and average mouth and a real nice sylish tree dog...if I get another walker dog it will be this line of dogs...you seem to have a nice dog a=and its a good line of dogs..great post...thanks steven

if any one is thinking about breeding, you have one sale.

We felt that Dooze would cross well with our Finley River hounds. After making the trip to Kentucky to breed to Dooze on more than one occasion and with Dan being on the shelve for a little while we were able to convince him to let us bring him to Virginia. He is very accurate and is an ever breath tree dog. Not fussy in any way and is a good looking well made hound. He goes as deep as he needs to but has an excellent handle on him. Dooze is out a Buck Creek Buck and a Gr Nt female that is Nailor and Clover bred. we don't hunt or sale dogs for a living so his stud fee is a very reasonable $100.00. He is UKC performanced.
