Sounds just like Jim Tressel ball! Man, I hated that play calling!

I'll take the home team in the Fla./Ga. game, and I think Oklahoma will win by 3 tds.

Defense

It was Baylor I was talking about. Texas and WV are both in about the same class on defense. Baylor Head Coach Art Briles is one of the best offensive minds in all college football and that could be one of Baylor trouble on defense the offense don't give the defense much time to rest. Baylor has new defensive coordinator so they should improve. Texas should win this week end against Kansas but after that I don't know. But I will keep watching as I have for the past 50 years. One last though and I'll get off here Bama is the best team I have watch this year but if they should lose it will be LSU not because LSU has the best team but LSU won't be beat before the game starts. Florida is always the home team what you talkin about. If they want to play at a neutral site they need to play in Columbia SC or Tuscaloosa Al.

Ricky ,will K state go undefeated or can Tex. Tech give them a good game ?

K-State

Chuck I think Texas Tech chances would be much better if the game was in Lubbuck but playing at home I think K-State will win. I would like see K-State win out. I don't think a one loss Big 12 team would have a chance at getting in the NC game. K-State will have Okla. State after Tech and I think that will be the one they may lose. Ricky Allen

Whoever picks Oklahoma by 3tds is really stepping out there. When has OUs coach ever came up big in the big games?

It's me! Don't forget, it's Notre Dame @ home! I know what you're saying about Oklahoma, they hardly ever win a big game!
Hey, I might miss the boat on this one, but I was delusional enough to think OSU was gonna be really good this year!

Anybody picking any upsets this week? I think the only team that will be upset is Miss State when Bama unloads on them.

So RIP, Tennessee's coach is 0-14 against ranked teams in his 3 years. This year getting beat worse then last year. Must be hard to be a volunteer fan. I am rooting for you today because spurrier is a moron.

They look like the only team left that would give UGA a game, I beat that game will be closer than UGA will feel comfortable with.

On another note, former MWC dominator was whooped again in a real conference by Ok State, bringing their Big 12 record to 2-3, and hoosier will say it's because they lost their QB, but in those losses they allowed an avg. of 43 ppg, that power house defense of the MWC ain't looking so hot is it hoosier.

Ummm no he's not and you have absolutely no knowledge of football if you think they are "getting beat worse than last year" because they are not. They have been competitive in every game they played except Alabama. That's a stat his detractors try to ride but Cincinatti was ranked in both polls last year but that is somehow forgotten.

What you have here are idiots that don't know what it takes to win in the SEC, especially with the schedule that Tennessee has year in and year out. We knew when he came in it was a 5 or 6 year rebuilding process due to losing 40 yes FORTY players because of having 3 coaches in 3 years (players can leave when coaches change and we lost 20 or so when Kiffen came in and 20 or so more when Dooley came in).

Now you can't have it both ways. Either you say he has beaten ranked teams and use the rankings at the end of the year, or you have to say that this year he was beaten by top 10 teams with the exception of 1.

Let's put it this way, if he had played Boise's schedule we would have had 3 ten win seasons and he would look like a hall of fame coach.

But he had to play in a real conference with one of the toughest schedules in that conference due to the luck of the draw for 3 years straight (really 2 and a half).

He is in year two and a half of a 5 or 6 year rebuilding project. He will get there if he is allowed to, but the problem is the children that aren't old enough to know what a rebuild project is are screaming loud that it doesn't matter about the talent level or the strength of schdule that he hasn't "won" enough.

Doesn't matter to me, the program is on the way back and if Dooley is fired his work will make it much easier on the next one. He has laid the foundation whether he is around to see it produce fruit or not remains to be seen.

Rip I agree he took a tough job, but I think not be able to win so of the close wons will cause him to be fired. He's done some good things, but i don't think that will be enough. If the vols fire him there will be alot of coaches try and get that job.

Nobody will try and get that job because nobody wants to come somewhere that expectations are not realistic. If they fire him that will prove how unrealistic the fans are.

Face it, you had the equivalent of the death penalty for him to come back from. Everyone, all the analysts etc said it was a 5 or 6 year job.

Now in two and a half years they are expecting him to beat top 5 teams without the talent and depth to do so just because he has built an offense that makes defenses look silly at times.

But you have to have defense, and we don't have the speed in the secondary yet to compete in the SEC. We are getting there.

That's why we looked so good against Cincinatti and NC State, they don't have SEC speed. Cinci won their conference and we destroyed them last year.

The reason we got Dooley in the first place was because we fired a hall of fame coach that had only had two losing seasons in the toughest conference in America over his 15 year career. Two. That told them all they needed to know and when Kiffen left, putting us in such a deep hole they knew that even if Knute Rockney or The General himself took over the fans would never have the patience to keep the coach through the rebuild no matter how good a coach it may be. That's why they all turned it down.

It will be more of the same if they pull the trigger on Dooley because most of the coaches and analysts know how much we have improved over the last two and a half years. They know that people will be expecting a SEC Championship (and by default a National Championship) before we get the talent to do so. They won't come.

Look RIP I'm glad you think being competitive is an accomplishment. Unfortunately winning games is what's important and he's had 3 years to prove himself and he's barely producing enough wins to be bowl eligible.

As far as Boises schedule goes, you show me a team non aq or aq that has a better winning % then Boise. If having a coach that's 80-7 and won every big game under him but 1 is easy show me a coach thats comparable? Show me a division 2 or 3 program that have won more games then Boise in the last decade.

Look what Boise did to UGA last year with the same offensive coordinator that Florida has this year. Boise dominated UGA and moved the ball at will but the number 2 team in the country with supposedly so much more talent couldnt even get a touchdown on UGA.

Boise lost 9 of 11 starters on defense and for the 1st time in 6 games gave up a 1st half point today. That's unreal and I don't care what league your in. Looking very possible that Boise will make a BCS game.

It was 5 games today would have been the 6th, Boise won't make a BCS game after losing to a weak Mich State team. Didn't boise lose to TCU twice, and the Nevada game was for them to be undefeated, I would call those big games. I haven't seen the score were Boise beat UGA this year. They beat last year's team, they also choked at home to a 2 loss TCU team that was beaten by SMU. Something else all you do is brag about how boise isn't scared of anyone and dominates, did you know that La Tech did what no other WAC team has done in beating teams from BCS conferences in consecutive weeks. Also Colby Cameron extended his streak to most passes attempted without a int to 319. Boise better be glad they don't play Tech because they would have gotten murdered. Moore threw multiple picks against Tech when they were bad, just imagine what would happen now. The last time they played the refs had to extend 3 boise drives with pass interference calls after tech stopped them on third down all 3 times putting tech in the hole.
