This cross was made today. Will be the first potential pup's out of "Patch". Our "Kandi" female was to far gone to get bred by the time we got her swapped from one end of the state to the other unfortunately.

This has potential to be a good cross & only time will dictate the result's. If'n your interested in booking a pup get a hold of Perry. Should be some looker's with good mouth's packed & stacked with natural coondawg's runnin deep in their vein's......

Thank's everyone!

Perry & Chris, "Smoke" is growing into a fine lookin hound & I really like the top line he's got. That kinda power loin collection propel's the whole dog. "Drum" has got an unbeleivably powerful back on her & is the fastest hound here beside the truck. She start's out at 25 mph. Not a measure of her ability in the timber of course but a sign of her functional ability. Sound's like he's fixin 'ta make ya'll a good hound & I'm happy for ya as is "Oppy" I'm sure!!

Matt,not sure 'bout the purdy'est thang but appreciate your comment's. Something we have strived to maintain is good lookin coon treein machine's. A long way from bein 100% successful & probably never will but we sure'nuff are gonna keep on tryin. I'll give credit to their ancestory for what they are or have a chance to be. After all,all we do is run the leather end of the lead..

How would you describe Drum's mouth ? Spice is loud and carries well but has not developed into a deep mouth yet. Still very sharp so I was wondering if Drum was the same way. It does appear that she will mature to approx. Her mothers size.Hope to get her in the corn soon. Started the relaese coon phase and she promptly came into heat. How old is Drum?

Kevin, "Drum" has a huge bawl mouth & is very loud but it to took some time to appear. I have seen a few take a bit to mature into their voice. I alway's figured it was the overly exciteable phase. Once they seem to mature & chill out a bit they settle in. "Patch" went thru a phase like that & now he is gettin tighter mouthed & usin his real voice which rival's his mother's. She is gonna be five in a bit if my recollection is correct.

When the opening present's itself we plan to put her in the hunt's. Couple more win's on "Bum" & maybe she'll get the chance. One of them more dog's than handler thing's.

Good luck with "Spice" & keep me informed if'n ya would.........
