A lot of hunters have asked me what is the number 1 trait passed on from Turk to his pups? After a lot of thought any many nights in the woods with Turk's offspring I would have to say it's the ability to PICK A TREE AND STAY HOOKED, right or wrong, no matter how much pressure is put on them. They are TREEDOGS in the truest sense of the word. Many are also passing on this trait to their offspring.

I don't know of any for sale and most of the litters being born are mostly males. I will try and keep an eye out for one though...........Tim

I took Froggie and Frankie out for a short hunt to night. I pulled into a field just in time to see 5 deer run from left to right in frount of the truck.I figured this would be a good time to see what Frankie was going to do on deer. I turned both dogs loose and they ran across their tracks and said nothing.Froggie ran a old feed track for about 1000yards and locked up on a tree.Frankie started treeing with her as I walked back to the truck.She kept treeing until I drove around the section and walked with in about fifty feet.They had the meat. Every time I take Frankie out she does a little better.The Garmon said she stayed with in five yards of Froggie all night.God is good......Doug

Hunting

There are a few guys that are hitting the woods a little and are able to get some coon treed. Most of the local hunters are waiting for warmer weather. I am waiting for the Dr to say its ok for me to get back outside, this staying in sure sucks. The new treatment seems to be working but sure makes me tired.........Tim
