Iam sticking with truex ! He's been on a role and being home track I think he snags it , but logano calls this home as well both being New England boys . Still can't count out harvick or Jimmie - both are like a bad disease , just can't get rid of em !

TEAM 48 PENALIZED

The 48 team got it again after this past weekends race. After getting their written warning they still did something Nascar didn't like so now even if Jimmie gets the pole for the Dover race he gets one of the last two pit boxes. The 51 and the 1 also got penalized.

Still can't count the 48 out. Biffle is really due for a win though!!! But I'm starting to really like Earnhardt at this race ... hopefully it wont rain it out!

DOVER POLE

Scary Creek, your driver is fast but not quite fast enough for the pole. Denny Hamlin got the pole with Truex starting beside him in 2nd. Harvick made the top 12 but none of the Hendrick boys got in. Jimmie starts 14th but he was wicked fast in practice. Kyle Bush is also fast and I think he's gonna bring it to the front early.

GOOD RACING

Watching the race in the house today as its rainy outside. Mason been racing back and forth on his Jimmie Johnson car that he has about outgrown. Truex is fast today but I still think it will be Jimmie or Kyle Bush in Victory Lane. Good clean racing so far.

MISTAKE MADE

Late caution and Harvick and Jimmie didn't pit, huge mistake I think. Truex took 2 and I feel he will catch them with the 15 laps left to go.

WINNER!!!

Jimmie got the jump on Harvick at the restart and took the lead and kept it. On old tires he held them off to get his 10th win at the Monster Mile and his 4th win of 2015. Harvick was 2nd, Larson 3rd, Kahne was 4th and Truex was 6th. Kyle Bush ran in the top 5 about all day but wrecked at the end with only 23 laps to go.

Watched it a couple times. 2nd to the last restart without a doubt the 48 car jumped the restart, it was mentioned and then it was mum (on the scanner) and was ignored. Oh well, on to the next track next weekend.

TRUCK RACE TIME!!!

Truck race time in a few minutes. About to take the Jimmie Johnson cover off the TV outside and settle down in a Cypress chair around the fire on the bank of the Bogue Chitto River and see if Eric Jones can get it done. He's going to be a great one as the years go by. Sunshine has finally showed back up here and we are glad to see it, had more than our share of the rain the past few weeks. Kurt Bush got the Pole for Sundays race with Truex, Gordon Harvick and Edwards rounding out your top 5. Boogity Boogity Boogity, Lets go racing Boys!!!!!

WINNER!!!!!

TRUEX gets his much deserved win Sunday!! Harvick was 2nd and Jimmie a very distant 3rd. I had a fishing trip planned and as soon as race was over I hit the road and just now had time to post.
With 22 laps left the had a caution and restart and Truex and Harvick was so much faster than everyone else it was embarrassing. They finished 11 seconds ahead of Jimmie in 3rd with only those 22 laps to go. That's hauling it. My guess is this win motivated that small team to the point I bet he gets a couple more wins soon. Glad to see a good guy and team get the win.

POLE WINNER

Kasey Kahne gets the pole with Freaky Fast Harvick starting 2nd. My guess is Kasey won't lead the first lap as Harvick most likely will. Jimmie starts 8th and JR. 14th. Matt Kenseth's son, Ross, won the Arca race last night in only his 3rd start and will run in his first xfinity race next Saturday night for Joe Gibbs Racing.

RAIN OUT WINNER

Kurt Bush gets the rain out win. 4 red flags and rain that just wouldn't go away so they called it with just over 60 laps to go. Harvick was fast but a broke valve stem got him a flat and cost him the race probably.

It sure would and they need to add one to the Chase and I wish they would change their schedule up more and hit tracks at different times of the year than they did the year before.

I snuck down to Joliet (Chicagoland Speedway) this last weekend and saw the Xfinity race and met up with Matt Kenseth and his son Ross who competed in his 1st Xfinity race and led the first 2 laps and finished a solid 6th place.

I bet that was great time getting to go to that race and talk with Matt and his son Ross. He is going to be a good one and so is Eric Jones. I haven't been to a race yet and looks like it will be Dega in the Fall before I get to go. Great picture's!
