TWO-BIT

Another great time guys! Glad ya could all make it. Never any fun to go back to work monday.

Dont wanna leak too many pics cause heard fred might be releasing a video. But here is a couple pics of our 1st annual hidden wieght fun hunt put on by the quinte coonhound assc.




Heres young keegan that entered our hunt. He shot his own smaller coon but his dad won the the hidden weight pot with this 29 pounder. Took all he had to lift this sucker for a pic but couldnt wipe the grin off!

I had a great time in Canada Pete.I 'd like to thank Luke and Crystal for the hospitality that Fred and I received while our stay.Crystal made the best bear roast a man can eat and Ken brought down some moose chilly as well. Thursday thur Saturday was awesome with good friends and good times in the woods just seeing all of the blue dogs go.Well, I guess I will have the honor of the purple sock award again this year Pete, maybe next year it will stay in Canada but for now it stays in Ohio with the wildman. Take care all and thanks again.

Had an awesome trip in ohio last weekend. Thanks to two bit kennels and family for the great hospitality and guided my son to his 1st two deer kills.

While there took a nice hunt with fred and bob. Dogs all looked good. Was particularly impressed with young muck tuck annie. 13 month female outa bluelabel twobit lucy and steve morgans rock dog. I thought i had enuff greenbacks in my pocket to buy out bobs half of her but he wouldnt bite. Here is a pic of annie on the wood.



Annies mother lucy was a granddaughter of old otis. Hope to get her bred to old tide or possibly chip in the future. Would be a nice mild linebred cross on some good old blooded dogs.

having you guys down for deer season,thanks to the State of Ohio for letting a Canadian youth come in and shoot 2 deer for $36.Annie has been doing a great job this past month,improving every night.Will let you know if the price on her is going up or down.

Happy Happy New Year to All!!!!This has been the most enjoyable huntin season I have had in some time.The price on young Annie hasn't come down yet,her and Ruby caught one on the ground after a 500 yd hot chase,next drop she had 1st and 1st with the meat.Will see how she does through Jan.

Fred ,its always good to hear ,good news .I'm glad its been a season to remember. I'd say it would be pretty enjoyable hunting w/Bob .If I was a betting man ,it would be tuff ,to make a bid on how many pair of boots you and Bob have went thru, in the time dating back, to when Buster came on scene.Lol .......Dave

Old TIDE became a daddy this past Sunday.Very excited on this cross,she is a very nice female owned by Bill Arigoni here in Ohio.They are 4 days old today.Will post more about this cross as they get older.

She had 10 pups,as of yesterday all still alive.It is cold and snowing up here in Ohio.Bill is 75yrs old and has had hounds his whole life,sure hope he keeps this litter going.If all make it will be some for sale.Will keep ya posted.

Thanks Fred for your hospitality and time spent to get Tide and Lou hooked up. I feel this cross will be a good one bringing Lou to Tide with Dozer and Hawk and Rose up this close on the bottom side and Hawk on the top along with Otis, my CB dog and Geronimo and all that JB's Chief, Along with others. Spring is coming,I think I can put my winter hat away.This pup does have a little tan on her,she is 9wks old and out of Tide and PutPut.She is one of our summer projects.

Been a long winter north of the border. Snow is just starting to get tolerable. Still plenty in the swamps. Blew some dust off chip last night.





Goin to Ohio this weekend for a visit. I better put my longjons away and pack my shorts!
