Chad there is only a few that will drive 5 hours to breed a female. Me being one of them, I can tell you it ain't easy. (Might be the reason I bought Splitter) But, it is well worth driving 20 hours to breed to the right male if you have the right female in order to get the right cross! I think most don't drive in fear of losing time and money. They want to make a local easy cross and sell pups to make money. Me I want to make the best cross possible. I get pups, raise'em, and price'em. If the sell fine if not I hunt'em. I ain't making money but it seems to be working pretty good for me having hounds to compete with.

Well it's worked this time. I guarantee I'll be driving to your house to do it again. Best young dog I've ever had bar none splitter is the real deal hunted with them roughtons for a few yrs never have met you but you got a hell of a hound

Thank you sir! I'd say you have hunted with several that I owned over the past ten years in these hunts. Me knowing how much you know about a hound that is a compliment. You have hunted some of the best I've drawn over the years, even if they were walkers. Thanks & good luck until we draw again!

You're right. Except in Jerry's case, a pup will cost him $500. I hate seeing a good pup go to waste, that extra $200 he has to pay helps me get over wasting a good pup. Lol

Hunted Splitter again tonight. He and Magic split treed about 800 yards apart. Splitter had a ringtail and Magic had a big pretty tree. I will try to post a few pictures of Splitter later.
