Hunted Hickory tonight

Can't get over this great weather we are having in Wis. this year.
Hunted Hickory tonight. 1st tree was a big pine, could not see a coon. 2nd one was in deep and he had two in that one.

Ruger ***Jobe/Magic***

This is Ruger Mag XL IV ***Jobe/Magic cross***
Herbie sold Ruger to me and I couldn't be happier with him. I mean the dog but I guess Herbie too. Ruger is a younger brother to the Hickory dog on this page. Someday I would like to see some little Lou's and Rugers running around. Both these dogs treed coon before one year old by theirself and also under pressure with other dogs........

Ruger and Hickory are fine looking hounds, ole Jobe throws some good ones as well as the females that are bred to him !

These two young dogs are about as loud as they get. Ol Jobe has the same kind of mouth. They will hurt your ears if your next to them at the tree. Ruger was about as good of a pup as I ever started the was nothing to it. The first night I took him hunting he was sevon months old. And him and my Sky female worked an old bad coon up and treed it. And he's been doing it ever sense. He's a goodin!

Got 2 pups headed this way shortly, i"m getting a female and my buddy is getting a male out of Gary"s Amos dog and Magic, was getting one out of Jobe and Maggie but she did not take !

Tonights Hunt

Went out tonight and took Hickory and Heather. Made one drop and made one tree headed in early tonight. We are supposed to get 9 inches of snow tommorow.

thanks for answering that for me scott! lol haven't gotten a chance to memorize much of it yet and i already sent her papers in so i dont have em to reference. good lookin out on that one, haha. you would've been fired up seein her on the tree tonight, you'll have to check out the thread i started, got a good pic of her and lady stretched out on the tree.

Those white or light colored blueticks are starting to grow on me more than they use to, seems or maybe it's just me but it seems to me they make better than average coon dogs for some reason !

This is the first blue dog i've owned. I like the darker colored ones but this little girl here is a beautiful dog and is not afraid to get out and get it done. Check out my post 2 nice blues treein in West Virginia. Got a pic of her treed with another dog from the same lines.
