CW, glad ya'll had fun, hate the last minute loss. Went pleasure hunting Sat. night. One of them nights I should have stayed home. I cant remember when I have seen 2 dogs act so stupid. At least one of them was a holstein . The weather is getting right down here, but still real dry!

Hunting

Went hunting last night, about 0100 hours, man it was cold, LOL! First let out, Blues struck, and drove the track 590 yds, with in minutes. She sat down, and blue the top out of the tree. I video'd the whole thing, but I cant get it to down load, UGGGH!!! had a big Ole Boar Coon sitting at the very top of a tree that had no leaves...Loved it. That Ole coon didn't choose that tree on his own, LOL!
Now tonight, it's raining again, very windy/cold and an absolute nasty evening...OH-Well Maybe tomorrow night. Blues first comp hunt, after her 21 day's in Jail...is coming up this friday......Keep tuned, CW......Hopefully we can make it back to the club in time to get Blues NtCh title on paper, and I'll give you call....although she should have already had that title several times already, but not her fought. TTYL!!!

Just got back in--trying to hunt every night and get work done too. try to be in the woods every year on Hallowen. Getting that 3rd win was when I start to feel good about getting the grand night thing over with--sometimes it is like finishing a good book-you hate for it to end. It is difficult to believe that a dog can look perfect one drop and then like a complete idiot the next! Many religious-come to Jesus moments for both a dog and I way down in a swamp once I finally got my hands on them. It is dry here--saw a dog write an I O U to a fire hydrant. Eric I'm tuned & waiting on the call. We treed two last night and one tonight to close out October and if it gets dark tomorrow night we will start November. Best Day-until then!

Bust

We had one of those last night. Dale Parker was our guest and his dog did fine. We intended to show him a good time. My two got deep and stayed--not treed-not going anywhere-not in a whole-not right. An hour later we are getting them out of the tree leaning over the creek bed (NO water)-No excuses-we hunted thru the heat, snakes, ticks,so these hounds would shine right now-perfect cool temps-hunting season and a guest along to be a part of it-had the gun and the camera. Tonight is another night and if it goes right-I'm on top of the world. Hey we all go thru it sooner or later. Sometimes you just have to be glad you get to go-I am!

Everybody has one of those nights, every once in a while...If they say they didn't they'd be telling a FIB!!! LOL!!

Back on track

Last night was more like it. Dale Parker came over again-guess he was figuring misery loves company, so he would share. Many of you should remember Dale-he handled the Rebel dog for Charlie Castleberry in the 80's. We treed a couple last night. Dale was in the Corps about 10 years after me-he still looks the part unlike me. John-thinking you will not have to try real hard to have a good time in MICH. Soak it up and be sure to take some good pictures for all of us to enjoy as well. I have been digging around thru these pictures and found a few more to post on here--I have really enjoyed the ones that you guys have shared with us. Looking forward to getting Big Boy back here soon. Every dog on this place has treed coon by themselves except for one pup--I fully expect her to take care of that real soon. Best day of my life so far and it is going to get dark again tonight!

Long Distance-Eric calling!

Making good on his word-Eric Werry just called with news that his Becky Blues won another 1st place UKC last night-making her not just Nt Ch but Dual Champion. Eric's plans are to dual grand her out. Make my day! I have said it before--when the final numbers are in on 6 Again's reproduction--rewrite your record books. Way to go Eric and Becky Blues. There are others out there that are oh so close and I will be just as glad to hear from you,too.

Hey, The Saturday Night Comp Hunt, (Dont laugh to hard) but it didn't go so well.......
CW, John..... I, went tonight to the Gallia Co. Club, Money/entry slip in my shirt pocket, already filled out, waiting for MH to start taking entries. I, Remember Looking at the Clock and it was 7:30pm, (dead line to enter 8:00pm). I, was setting on the bench talking with a couple friend's of mine, when the MH asked if I was going to Judge/guide tonight, and I said absolutely....WELL GUESS WHAT......about 8:04pm the master of hounds asked where my entry slip was, because he couldn't find it.....Do You Know Why?..... It was still in my shirt pocket, LMAO!!!! Yep, You Guessed it, I couldn't hunt tonight....Has that ever happened to you? LOL!!!!
Instead Little Ricky, W/Blade, and I/Blues went pleasure hunting...for a couple drops.
1st drop: Blues Got first strike, and first tree, 1 coon seen.
2nd drop: Blade got first strike, but Blues got the 1st tree, two coon seen.... She better not let a walker beat her to the tree. I'd left her in the wood's. Bad enough she let one have the first strike, LOL!!.......We had a great night, but little Ricky, (age 12) was a little upset we couldn't hunt in the Comp hunt, but after we went pleasure hunting, Ricky said, he liked watching them dog's fight that coon more, (ME TOO RICKY) LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I, video taped both drops, for Ricky can take back home, to W.V. for he can watch, untill next weekend, when we hit the Jackson Co. Comp Hunt....

I finished Junior to night Champion last night with a first place win and high scoring dog. I talked to CW last night to tell him the good news. Went to a great club with alsome guides and people. This is one of the top clubs around.

Congrats on getting ur done.

Time Change/ Name Change

Two days in a row--getting those calls everyone of us that has bred these dogs loves to get. Somewhere between 1 or 2 in the morning Joe kept his word as well. With the time change I was a bit confused,which is not hard for me to do. Nt Ch Ramblin Blue Junior-finished with another 1st place and hi-scoring dog. Friday night Eric calls from Ohio and Sat. night it,s Joe from Virginia. I also spoke with Dan-Joes brother in Pa. the other day-this should make everybody happy--sure nice news on this end. Scott in Mich. sure hope we get the same kinda news on you and Maddy soon. Joe's plans are to Grand Junior out. The numbers on 6 Again's pups just keep rising again and again. Gonna cut this short-get to inspect a female for single reg. tonight-hope she can get it done. Good luck to the 54!

hunted this weekend wiyh larry,ed,terry and scott ole maddy, looked real nice and seen eds 6 mo, old pup split from penny with a coon inn a den had alotta fun treed 8 thur nite and 7 fri nite. now thats what i call a vacation on the beach!!!!!
