Morning everyone. Hunt report: Turned loose at 5:30PM and struck red hot and had a good race for 1/2 mile. Told my buddy it will be a den tree. Sure enough it was Holiday Inn. Pictures will come later. Turned loose right from the tree hit within 2 minutes and ran 300 yards and all three dogs came treed. Went to them and seen eyes glaring at us. Left that coon up and turned loose again struck within 1 minute. Had a heck of a race. Sound like a deer race. Dogs treed 1/2 mile from us. Went to the tree and they had Mr. coon up high in the tree. That coon was scared. Left him and dog didn't go 1 minute and struck at the edge of a slough. The race was on. Dogs were swimming and breaking the buck brush. That race was at least 15 minutes in the slough and finally got across the water and went a little over 1/2 mile on our Garmin's. Treed and went to the tree and there the coon was. Shot this one out. They deserved this coon after that race. We decided to quit and it was 8:00PM. End of report. Those boys have a lot of coons over there. Had a big time fun.

Glad to hear you had a blast and glad to hear there are some coons somewhere. Chuck sounds like your going to have to have a nap today.

TD they do have a lot off coons over there. Best part of the hunt is no walking. That Ranger Polaris gets is there fast.

Freds dog got tired of waiting for us to shoot this one and decided to go up the tree himself. He got up around 12 feet high and if it wasn't for the young man we hunt with Freds dog could have been hurt.

That bugs the daylights out of me when them dogs think they can climb trees too. Big Moe's dog climbed up a tree a while back and he had too get a young man too get her down, they said she was 60 feet up. You had a night of it Spotty. Same here on the weather. Spotty you heard anything on Gut? He must be trashin' again

That would be just fine, except one problem....all my flat ground got sold too new owners DEER HUNTERS. Don't want no coonhunters botherin' their deer. Aint no changin' their minds. The old Gem dog is in heat big time, took her for a walk on leash, pissed on everything she could, thought for a min. 'ol Coma was on the other end. Told Linda I should breed her too the High X pectation dog, very dirty look.

Ole Hound thanks for the compliment. It looks like we are going to get those storms. Wind is suppose to pick up to 30mph. Can't believe this in the middle of January. TD what the weather up there looking like? It is 54 degrees here.

Mike

It's 5:19 right now and 34 degrees here ,,,lol

Mike it is very foggy up here and 37 degrees outside but plenty warm here in the house. Spotty you go tonight and I think you will be hunting in pea soup. You better make sure that light is fully charged cause you are going to need a fog light. Chuck can you see a 13 inch beagle today? Mike you got your bathin suit on?
