As the season is fixing to change, watch for theses signs

- if you get ready for hunting season by dyeing your mullet camo.
- if you sew the legs back on your jeans at the end of each summer.
- if you know how many bales of hay your car can hold.
- if when you say, Let's hit the hay, you actually mean it.
- if your duck call turns your wife on.
- if your most expensive jacket is camouflage.
- if you've ever swapped shirts with a scarecrow.
- if you actually know which kinds of leaves make the best substitute for toilet paper.
- if you've ever been hunting on a tractor.
- if a full moon reminds you of your mother-in-law pulling weeds.
- if you saved lots of money on your honeymoon by going deer hunting.
- if you’ve been shot at while getting your firewood from your neighbor's yard.
- if you’ve ever valet parked a John Deere Harvester.

As told by a single woman:

I was shopping at the local supermarket where I selected:
A half-gallon of 2% milk
A carton of eggs
A quart of orange juice
A head of lettuce
A 2 lb. can of coffee
A 1 lb. package of bacon
As I was unloading my items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind me watched as I placed the items in front of the cashier. While the cashier was ringing up the purchases, the drunk calmly stated, “You must be single.”
I was a bit startled by this proclamation, but was intrigued by the drunk's intuition, since I indeed had never found Mr. Right and was single.
I looked over the six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about my selections that could have tipped off the drunk to my marital status. Curiosity got the better of me. I said, “'Yes, you are correct. But how on earth did you know that I was single?”
The drunk replied, “’Cause you're ugly!"

Been doing some hunting here and there. Finally got to see what a coon in the tree. I can not wait till these leaves fall off. So much underbrush where I hunt you can't even see the tree. Club is coming right along so far two HTX hunts total of 24 dogs and have had 5 passes. One more on September the 27th. First Nite hunt and bench show is October the 24th. Looking forward to it.

Prayers to all in need.

Prayers to all in need!
Good News Corky and Nice Truck!!
James... Funny stuff for sure... and WB in such a position of importance? WHAT were they thinking? lol...
Good Weekend with mum although she DID tumble off her chair...doing one of those STOOPID...I can do it myself things. She was trying to pick up a kleenex or napkin...and couldn't get up so I had to lift her.... she was unhurt and all is well.
I have a Massive headache. Was not good yesterday so I didn't get on here... worse today! Go Figure.. might have twisted my neck... I'll live. I KNOW I did NOT hit my head so not a worry.
Did get to see the Pats win in pieces. Not a great game but a win.
OK.. I think I'll go see wasssup elsewhere while I can still function. With this kinda headache I may or may not be back later. I do NOT want worry though please! With my brai injury I get these from time to time and I just have to wait it out!
Have a great aftn! HappyHunting too, Heather

GOOD MORNING ALL.
46 HERE.
WELL THE BOYS TEAM WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT 4-1. DEFEATING THERE BIG RIVAL IS ALWAYS ALOT OF FUN.
CORKY,
YOU HAD BEST GET A GOOD COAT OF WAX ON THAT TRUCK BEFORE WINTER. AS FAR AS ENGLISH, B&T, BLUE AND RED DOG IN FINAL CAST THAT MIGHT BE A STRETCH. IT WOULD BE NICE. NO WAL CUR, BUT I DOUBT THAT HAPPENS THEY HAVE THE MAJORITY AGAIN.
WBOND,
HOW WAS THE TRIP TO BLAIRSVILLE AGAIN. I WOULD HAVE CAME UP BUT THERE WAS TO MUCH GOING ON.
MIKE,
SOUNDS LIKE THE HTX ARE DOING WELL.

PRAYERS SENT.

Pulling for blue of course. Would be something for Clean to win it again as long as Stretch aint handling him. Would rather see a new face in the winners circle though esp with a non walker. Would really be something if the Plot won it, that breed is at a 104 to 1 odds right now.

Big River Dan (eng) and Mark Loney have done some winning. He is a good dog and Mark is just a good ole boy. Mark's wife can cook some good coon. She works her tail off in the kitchen when the State Fed. has hunts up there. She was probably running the kitchen for the zone hunt since they were the host of zone 8. If they had sent WB down there, he would have gained 30 lbs. LOL
