I"m laid off right now so far. Warm 50 degrees a little windy and cloudy. If the rain don't come in to early I'm a goin huntin tonight.
We just got in from walking around this afternoon and squirrel only seen one squirrel and couldn't get it. Took the pups walking with us this afternoon and got them leading better now if we can just get them on a coon and loadin better.

Takes time TD. This wind is still blowing at a high rate of speed. When I can hear it in this house you know it is blowing. Anybody hunting down in this part of the country tonight? I think Bill got blow-ed off to the end of the earth.

Mike we started out at 6:30 quit at 8:00 didn't get nothing. Followed about 4 tracks and never finished a one. Nice warm night wind still blowing a little don't know where all the coons have gone! I think the tracks were old or something seen some tracks but they were old ones. Hope everyone did better than us. Ya I think your right Bill either blew off the face of the earth or his dogs are doing so well he's hunting 24/7.

Linda

I used to make those wooden deer for people to use as Christmas yard ornaments ,,,lol sometimes i would sneak up and set them up in their yard ,then call them on the phone telling about the big deer in their yard,,,,I made mine with real deer horns though ,,,lol,,pretty cool critters

Posted by bigtimberkennel on 01-17-2012 01:29 PM:

Ya I meant to do that too but never had the time and weather was yucky so may work on them this spring and do that this Christmas. I have seen them put lights on them to and that was pretty cool. I found a different way to do the heads but this one was a simpler version so want to work on the other version this year cause I like the looks of it a lot better. Is it raining up there?

Posted by chuck west on 01-17-2012 02:09 PM:

Linda

Yes it is raining ,will change to snow later so they say ,i'll send you some ideas on the deer in a pm ,,,

Just got back from town, Linda got 2 almost new chairs from an old lady who was movin' and needed too get rid of them. Lazy boys and not even a scratch or dent. Mike the only thing I can say about the wallpaper is I'm glad it aint me She said she would get back with you later on it, she thought you can steam it off.

Posted by bigtimberkennel on 01-17-2012 08:13 PM:

Mike you can purchase or probably rent a wallpaper steamer score the wallpaper or use a wallpaper perforator then steam it off. I've also heard you can score the wallpaper in crisscross's and apply with a sponge 1 part vinegar 2 parts water let it soak for 15 minutes and peel it off with a drywall scraper. Then go over it with the sponge and vinegar solution again to take off any remaining adhesive. You would want to make sure and put down plastic on anything that needs protected. Hope this helps. Linda

Thanks Linda. Steam we haven't tries. Every thing else we have. It is coming off but slow.

heard that Larry,i tried one dump tonight...female jump out the box and pulled up lame.I think she twisted an ankle when she jumped down out of the box,I wished I would have stayed home ,she wouldn't go hunt after that happened.they are still catching the hell out of the crappie at shelby.
