I'm still under the weather. Just a fever and head ache and don't feel like me...nothing big... Makes me SLOWER than normal...LOL...
Last night the possum ate the pumpkin pie JUST out of view of the cam! LOL...
Skunks still under cover and no raccoons... but those coon are FAT and can go days without food...
I will try to remember to post some storm pix later on here....
IF THIS site doesn't get me grumpier...

Cleo.. some of the game cam pix of ME... when it's cold are SO PAINFUL... I erase em before Bob will see em! It does get painful... esp. the hands... I DO hate winter... but we get thru looking forward to SPRINGtime FLOWERS and sounds and smells! Gets harder though... as we get OLD... and it is NOT surprising that LOTS of folks retire to FL! AND... I'm VERY jealous of your SIXTY! LOL... Actually I'm GLAD for you cause I'm not the jealous type. I LIKE people to be HAPPY!

Slough... sounds like that Quail Flail was a Good Time!

CLYDE... LOL on the house... it is a NIGHTMARE! THe middle part of it... with the 2 dormers.. is the original house. It is a 2 bedroom former gambrel cape.. 1400 SF if I recall. It was my house.... When I married Bob... we decided we needed more room for the boys... Mind you... one is GRADUATING college soon and engaged... been out of house for a few yrs. Middle one is a soph. in college and not living here... Youngest is a junior in HS...LOL...BOB and I and any dawgs.... live in the original house... with ALL the stuff we BOTH own crammed into there and the enormous DUMB oversize 3 car garage... since we USED to have $ to ride our "toys" etc...LOL... The boys live up in the game room over the garage...which IS finished...there are a couple rooms off the back of the orig. house... so we have a tiny bit of space... THe BIG part of the house with the "tower" etc.. is the unfinished part... IT has the master bedroom, etc... IT is CLOSE to finish but... we totally ran out of $$$... and the part we DO live in... is totally ruined... and we started this project back in 2003... LOL... The biggest issue was that Bob took a "temp. pay cut" at work... $40,000.00 and THAT was in 2004! Never got it back... been ruff but it is our own fault... we were extravagent. Adding 3500 SF was STUPID... but it is beautiful and will be worth a good chunk of change towards retirement IF we can ever finish it.. AND we have TONS of rooms to rent out then too! LOL!

THe neighbors call it the castle... and that is where the BIGCASTLEDAWGS name came from

morning all

working in Fredericksburg Va this week...had to deal with 1/8 of ice this morning, roads not bad but trees and sidewalks a mess, took 20 minutes to get the ice off the windshield

rabbit hunted with my nephew over the weekend and it was a blast, i personal didnt carry a gun but those little beagles are fun to run and listen to for sure, the one i got for him will flat run a bunny I tell you and she is coming around getting better to catch, at first I was a little worried we would never win her over

look our Heather they say this stuff is headed your way again, I feel for you, Corky try and keep Bond in check while I am up here

I have my family send red diamond tea bags to me so i can have real sweet tea from back home . Yes Mcdonalds has sweet tea but it taste different at each one but it is better than not having the choice at all .

That's what this Yank got... I forgot the # of Petty's cars and some I had NO clue! LOL.... Doesn't EVERYONE eat Vienna sausages right outta the can???

WELL... it' is a ROTTEN mess here... I wont even go out at the moment... Rain, freezing rain and we had a few inches of snow on top of the old stuff! AKkkkkkkkk! I fed the birds EXTRA this morning in case I didn't go back out....

I want SPRING!

You All be CAREFUL out in the weather!! If it gets slick... do your best not to slip! Brain injury can sure slow down your life (or end it)... and slipping backwards is such a nightmare to think of! I have GREAT cleats I wear on my boots but am still real careful... Bob would KILL me if I whacked my head again....
