i was just wondering if your dogs throw better males or females...it may sound crazy but i have in some lines of dogs the males do better then females or females do better then males...like mainstreet jack if you pay attention his females is his mark...they make coondogs and reproducers....and like Grizzlys better hounds was his male pups....another thing is most of your pics on your post are male dogs...you may perfer males though...i dont think it matters to my wife all she wants is a pet...lol...but if im feeding it im going to hunt it..and make a coondog...you can pm if you dont want to post your answer...thanks Eddie....what is the puppies mommy?

WELL OL LIGHTIN THROWED ABOUT 98% MALES THE GIPS OFF HIM ARE DOING VERY WELL ONE HAS A TITLE ANOTHER IS MAKING A REAL NICE DOG. RAY HARTZELL IN OHIO HAS A TWO YR. OLD I DONT THINK MONEY COULD BUY, HE ALSO HAS TWO 9 MONTH OLD PUP OFF LIGHTIN AND QUEEN HES VERY PROUD OF REALLY NOT MUCH DIFF. IN THE PUPS THAT I CAN SEE. i would have to agree with eddie i havent seen a big difference in the sex of the pup out of lighting doing better then the other. i personly like hunting females so any chance i get to hunt one i do. both females i have off him im am very happy with but i did buy a male (jed) and really like him just as well. they all seem to be smart,tree minded or should i say TREE DOGS all with really good mouths, and not trashy and easy to start. like eddie said they have been started at 6 months to almost 2 years old and doesnt seem matter they start just as easy hope this helps ya out

talked to a guy with a male of lightnin the other day. he said he had a 1st and a 2nd on him. thats about 4 off lightnin with a first that i know of. call me tomorow i,ll give you the details.

is a little over 10 mo and is treeing coon alone consistantly!! eddie he trees like hiss daddy!! loud and hard! i dont hunt him real hard only on the nights i think are good. he was shown 2 cage coon , ran 4-6 drags, 4 turn loose coon not shown to him. then took to the woods by himself. just a natural. corn is almost ripe i can,t wait. eric says he is all business and that he acts like a old dog. i hope he finishes as good as he is starting if so look out boys!!!
