hey terry its kermit hester down in tennessee. i know this is a long shot but....Ive got a 3 yr old off boomer, my brockmans blue oak dog. i would love to get a litter of pups off him but only if its the right female. i want to linebreed on boomer, so a half sister, cousin, niece, etc. to oak or boomer would be what id like to raise a litter off of. oak isnt titled but thats my fault. just not enuff local hunts around here. if you know of anybody that has a female like ive mentioned and would like to raise a litter please put them in touch. if she is pkc registered i would pay to superstake the litter. oak is a hard charging freight train. if he comes by you its in a dead run. he hunts fast and he is a tree dog that can move a track. he does better in cooler weather because when its summertime hot, he gets real hot. oak goes hunting with or without company. he is independent but will cover if not busy. i wish he wouldnt but thats how he is. overall nice dog with build and looks to boot. two things really stand out about oak. 1. brains, this dog is smart and i had nothing to do with that. handles like he is on a chain. tone broke. 2. when oak rolls over to his chop, he aint coming off. you gotta go get him. wont pull to other dogs no matter how close they are or what they are doing. anyway, he aint perfect but a nice hound off boomer. love to get a pup from him is all i want. thanks

Thanks for the information on the Boomer and Ruby Cross. They are some of the best reproducers of our time.
I also remembered when Ron was hunting Annie but it has been a few years ago but could not quite recall the time. That cross was made four times and that is pretty amazing considering all that they reproduced. Hope to hunt with both of you soon. I sure enjoy hunting with good people and if the dogs look good that's good too.

Blaze got his first htx pass Friday night. Was in his first comp cast 2 weeks ago but didn't do so well. Not his fault. He wasn't hunted up due to having twin boys and trying to get them settled. They are doing great so now it's time to get back in the woods.

IN CASE FOLKS DIDNT REALIZE, STONE IS A BOOMER GRANDPUP, AND HE FINISHED 2ND AT THE SUPERSTAKES LAST NIGHT. ONLY NON WALKER DOG IN ANY OF THE FINALS. HE IS OFF JAKE APPLE'S JET DOG AND A GUAGE FEMALE. GREAT JOB AND TIME THE BLUEDOG WORLD GOT BEHIND ALL BLUES DOING THEIR THING AT THESE NATIONAL EVENTS. SHOULDNT MATTER IF ITS NOT THE PARTICULAR LINE YOU FOLLOW, ITS A BLUEDOG AND ALL OF US THAT HUNT, PROMOTE OR FOLLOW BLUEDOGS NEED TO GET BEHIND EACH OTHER. I’ve got a 7 month old grand pup off of the Boomer and Oakridge blue crazy tree’n pepper cross that is doing really good for his age. He’s been treeing his own coon for over a month and doing it nightly. I’m new to blueticks and just getting back into coon hunting after a 20 year hiatus so I’m trying to do a little research on the dogs of his past. I did not get the dog from the original guy who sold the puppies and haven’t been able to contact him to ask how my pups sire and dam were doing but all I know is my pup is doing really well for his age and so far I’m impressed. Does anyone know how well the Boomer and crazy tee’n pepper cross has done since these are my pups grandparents on the sires side? Any info is appreciated. Thank y’all

Terry I finished my blaze dog out of the Boomer Misty cross to htx champ. Hoping to get to more hunts in 2019. The ones we made it to this year we had some tough breaks and bad calls but it happens.
