Thanks guys its been going real well you all get a chance you should come up having a meat hunt out of it on the 24th starts at 7pm anybody wants to hunt come on plenty of guys to take out of towners hunting 100% pay out plus a jack pot man could win a load three ways to win money.

The grand opening for the store will be this sat we will be serving breakfast deli and a daily lunch special better come check us out something for everyone in the store.hours are from 7am til 6:30pm

Hello Rory, Good Luck with the store, sounds like a lot of great memories are going to be made there.

On another note, Good Luck at the Classic, I see Ole Jessie Lee, has been entered. When this winter weather breaks I would love to come check out your store and maybe even throw in a good old fashioned coon hunt too.

This ole knee is starting to feel somewhat better, and when I know I can trust it, I would love to come!!

Dave be glad to have ya the store is taking off great and my wife really likes it hope you knee gets better soon I know how it is to be running on a bad wheel they have been wanting to work on mine for awhile now and I haven't let them can't be down that long right now. Hey Ed that's great 25 per team 20 for the jackpot that's optional and all state laws apply you can sign in any time that day if a guy wants to come hang out in the store early and shoot the poop that's great just have to be entered by 7pm dead line to check in your coons will be midnight coons will be measured from tip of nose to tip of tail bone laid out flat longest coon will win 80% of the take shortest will win 20% jackpot winner takes all of it we will pay out all of the money store and kitchen will be open to all.

Don't really have guides set up but I've told my local buddies there might be some out of towners around and they all said someone could pile in with them and go kind of a fellowship thing but someone should win a pile if everybody comes that say they are.

Well the hunt went great we had 24 teams and if I counted right 96 hunters hunt paid $860 to the winners and $120 to the second place team big ol congrats goes out to Irvin Sutton and Larry Duncan on the longest coon and jackpot win there coon measured 35 1/4 big gen for here second place went to my ol buddy Jack Ryan and his son Bear there coon was the shortest it measured in at 25 1/8...again thanks to all that came out.. Oh and we also raffled off a night time hunting coat and the winner on it was Amey Caudell.. You can follow us on Facebook at Gobbler Holler General Store pics will be posted there.
