Well there was no lack of go in the dog tonight.....but the weather made me hang it up before it had a chance to get started.

No sooner did I cut Jack loose, it started to rain like a garden hose on an ant hill. I tried to wait it out in a shooting house there on the land I hunt, but it just wasn't happening. I had to get out and call Jack back and we packed it up. Ol' Jack was still wanting to get it done in that mess, so I have to hand it to him on that note.

Oh well, there's always the next drop.

another jabo pup on its way

Thought i would mention that our little pup is starting to put it together. On another note another young jabo pup got qualified for the world last night at the rqe in gibson! These jabo pups have go and show. gotta hand it to larry stringer for puttin these pups on the grounds.

My little jabo female CH MIDDLE FORKS SWEET TATER qualified last evening for the World Show. If she were in the right persons hands she would do really well.

Had a good hunt last night.

Took Jack and Jo-Ann. Made two trees in some of the nastiest viney stuff you ever wanted to witness. Didn't see eyes, but they were tough trees that touched everything in the woods. Oh well.

We'll get it done next time.

Kent, here is a pic of them pups off of Rambo x Dixie. Rambo is Jabo's full littermate brother and a coondog and my DIxie female is Timber Chopper, fireball bred. LWS.

Holy Cow Larry. She is swollen up pretty bad. I can't imagine that on her nose.

I hope she turns out alright.

Oh and btw those are some good lookin pups man. Nice color and good size.

CH Midnight Moon Hillbilly Jim

Jim made Bench Champion last night with a BMOS at a National Redbone Sectional in Grandview, In.
They also had to Tape him, and he made the cut off by a 1/4 inch.

I don't care if he don't meet the standards in the future or not, he is a big beautiful dark red hound, and that is what I like to see.

I wanna thank Kent for helpin to make this happen, and Larry for goin out on a limb and givin me Jim. Ya'll don't know how much I appreciate your help, and will do everythang I can to continue on with Jim and make ya'll happy with his progression.

Well.....Jack picked one heck of a time to do something new last night. It was a short night at the hunt but a long night for Jack.

Jack decided on the second cast to get tied up with a skunk. So after we went back to the club and picked up Jo-Ann the training began.

Needless to say we had a couple of discussions about pole cats.
