Line bred cross

I make these crosses for myself and never with $ signs in mind. Some do not work to my satisfaction and they end up plunked. Some end up oustanding and you hear about those. I have to know what is there and how to combine them. Lady (6 Again X Treeslamin Lady) to Blue (6 Again X Terry's Gr Nt Joanie). This is a half brother to half sister cross. Joanie is the product of just such a cross. Like I said sometimes it works. Both dogs have treed coons alone. If I raise more than I need and you feel like one might be of interest to you let me know. Just like everyone else, I'd like for them to get a real chance at makin dogs. One man may want a female. Pups should be ready to go about the Winter Classic. These more than likely will be priceless so do not ask me about --how much? I try to keep up with what leaves here --good or bad and I do not produce many. Even if you think you are interested --once you see it -if you did not like it-then you will not hurt my feelings one bit--in fact I'll respect you telling the truth. Food for thought!

I am sure they will be nice dogs. I know you know the ins and outs of the dogs. From the folks that I have seen that know what they have and the dogs behind them, not just the parents, but many generations behind them, these type of crosses seem to be some of the better crosses. I dont know alot but from what I have seen all the major influences in blueticks (Utchmans, Hammers, Jets, Smiley, ..etc) take a family of dogs they know inside and out and make crosses like these and produce. I know not all make it and if not knowing what you got you double up on all the bad, but I have seen very nice results from line breeding with Uncle/niece and Half bro/ half sis crosses that a friend of mine have made and produced litters of nice dogs just like the ancestors behind them. I am sure they will be some dandies as you know the traits and are for one I believe a true blueticker that is here to better the breed.

About 13 hours, and less, depends on traffic/How you drive.

Jeff if I could I'd leave today! In the past the middle of October was when I would come up-just have not been able the last couple of years. Last year operations killed any possible plans for Oct. and May. Heck I'd live up there from May thru Oct. if I could--be a snowbird and stay down here thru the Winter. Last night was super--platooned these young Jet bred and Purina fed blue dogs. First part of the night-Blue, Good Boy and Lady Bug-she decided she just might make a Coon Dog last night-treed a couple of singles and drove another to the creek. Took those back to the pens and loaded up Bonnie and Jessie-two young females and took them to a pecan orchard and they treed two up one tree. Sure made for a good nights sleep. Bonnie, Lady Bug and Good Boy are all out of Big Boy. Blue is a littermate to Reject and Jessie goes back to Hill Billy. Lady Bug and Jessie have male dog mouths . Jessie is also dark and will not hurt your eyes. Jeff hope you can make it down for the Winter Classic. Erick says he is and John, Joe may make it this year-so come on down!

Free Free at Last

CW, I Finally got Blues out of Jail....Her 21 day's spent in the pokey, didn't bother her a bit, except for gaining a few Lbs, from the Auto feeder!!! She looked good last night...Her father, (6 again) would be proud, LOL!! Now It's nothing, but rain, rain, and more rain...Here's a couple pic's of my 82 lb fat girl, from last night.

Eric-looks as if the time off and extra few pounds has not hurt her any. Know you are glad to have her back in action. This Lady female of mine was looking right but spect she will be out for awhile with these pups on the way. Becky Blues had a leg up from the looks of the pictures-head and shoulders above her nearest competion lol. Good to hear from you and remember you owe me a call soon as she makes Nite Champion. Somebody was bored

Eric-did it snow? I have told you before if it snows in Feb.-we say Merry Christmas down here-once a year if we are lucky. It was 32 this morning-made for a great night. Had 13 min. left, I was winning-I lost cast . Did see 4 coons and thats good. Joe and I were talking about the size of some of these dogs. I 'm bringing this up because there are misconceptions out there about Jet dogs being small -you can pretty much find any size you want-unless you want extrems-we aint talkin Gascons or Beagles. Dale Parker-fellow Jarhead-made it down for the hunt last night. He is working in the area and I hope we get to hunt some while he is. Just waiting on it get dark. Best day of my life so far!
