Thanks to Tim for allowing me to brag on one of my dogs. and allowing me to introduce another product of Homemade Kennels.

Introducing Nite Ch 'PR' Candy's Stylish Swag. Swag is 20 months old. He has proven to be a consistent cast winner and now has 2 wins toward GrNt after being entered in 9 hunts.

Swag has a big gear and is a dead loner. He weighs in at 80 lbs. He will be by himself unless another dog comes in and backs him. He will make your ears bleed when he opens and is one of the most accurate young hounds I've ever hunted. If he trees, you can load the gun. I have owned him since he was around 3 months old when Tim sold him to me as a puppy. He has been a true pleasure to train and hunt and is the type that spoils you. He's the best track dog I own and has caught three wild coons on the ground since March! He's smart as a tack and has taken many tracks away from my old dogs and treed it in front of them or trailed on past them when they were treed slick and had the coon when they missed it.

I can't take much credit though- Tim is the one who did the hard work behind this cross and producing these coondogs. Swag comes from a long line of coondogs and reproducers. He is a half brother to Tim's Big Money.

We've been pretty busy over the summer working and tying up loose ends and training young dogs. We've managed to hit the woods pretty hard on all but the hottest of nights. Clyde is doing well. I figured I would drop a recent picture of him since I haven't posted much lately.

We drew PKC World Champion PCH Hardtime Awesome at a recent added purse PKC hunt and managed to tree two coons behind him much to their surprise.

Simon NtCh Swag got a big future an I look forward to crossing a few females on him, We breed dog's to perform in competition, Pleasure hunt or Big game.

Tim,

Thank you again and also for the kind words. I hope he does- time will tell. I sure would love to have more like him in the future. I look forward to seeing how he reproduces and I would like to keep some of this blood in my kennel for years to come. I would also like to cross him back on a nice bean female one day if the opportunity ever allows.

He'll probably never be pushed like some of the stud dogs you see because he's a coondog first but I sure wouldn't deny anyone the opportunity to hunt with him or breed to him.

Both hounds that I have now are nice. Both are still very young and are very different styles of hound. They both suit me for different reasons.

I will say this though- Tim has always gone out of his way to help me, guide me and to make sure everything is right. You won't find a more stand up guy making such big strides for the improvement of the walker breed.

Maybe we can get that done soon, this will be our 16th year going to Canada, 6 of the finest men I know get together every year and head north and now I have my son-n-law going.

it's not a easy thing to deal with at first but now I have a son-n-law, a friend an a business partner Evan if he is from California and a little yuppie but we working on that LOL.

tim i dont know how ready he is...lol....but he worked a track a couple nites ago that some old dogs couldnt handle but he finished it with a coon our coons aint moving too goid right now until about 1am so he is getting plenty of practice with layups...but we will see you in ky..
