HUH ? What ? COFFFFEEEEEE!!!!!

Morning everyone. Having my first cup of coffee. Accurate hunt report:Turned Deacon loose dog went in the woods but not a dead run which I liked. He put his nose on the ground and went in about 80 yards and struck and treed. Waited for five minutes and went to tree and it was a den tree. Hard tree dog. Went little further down and turned Lacey loose she took off and went over 900 yards toward Walsh River. Got in the Ranger Polaris and we got up to her in a heart beat. She finally came in without hitting anything. Went down further and turned Deacon loose again and went in little over four hundred yards struck and I turned Lacey loose and she went to him. They both ran another two hundred yards and I heard Deacon load up on a tree. He rolled it over and that was it. Lacey started treeing. It took us over 45 minutes getting to them. Water was stopping us. Finally our guide new one more way to try to get to them. We drove down there and had 300 yards to walk. Bingo we got to them and they had the coon. Shot it out and let Deacon have and then I let Lacey have it. Got back to the Ranger Polaris and drove to a another woods and turned Deacon loose again. Went in there about 60 yards hit and treed. Walked in and a den tree. I was hoping this would have been on the outside. Oh well we called it a night. I had a 1 hour drive home and when we got home unloaded Lacey and Deacon. He has got a new home now.

Well it sounds like your happy with him,,,What breed is he ???? Will you post a pic later on ??

Mike glad to hear you got yourself a keeper. Sounded like you had a nice hunt. As for my trap report I got 1 of Bill's grinners I'm beginin' to think the coons around here aint as plentiful as they were.

4 coons and 1 den tree had some good work on sitting coons and cold bad tracks not a bobble except the den and that track started out cold after about 400yards started getting better end with driving race to the den.I quit then and went home with a smile on my face.

Nice lookin' hound there Mike. You and him can take walks together. Let Bill get him to travelin' for you then you can go for longer walks

He don't need to travel anymore than what he does now for me. Nice evening and the wind has died down to zero. Wish I was up to going but hitting the sack sounds better.

Last morning in 2011. Make it a good one. Do something you always wanted to do but never had the nerve to do it. This will be your last chance for this year. Rex you working today? Where is TD at. I am on my second cup of coffee. Going to be a nice day then going to get a little colder. I don't mind that one bit as long as it don't rain.

I took another 1.5 mile walk today again. Felt better when I got back. We took two Aussies with us and met up with one of the pups we sold. They walked with us. Washed my dog pens out and messed around with Deacon for awhile. Wife is baking home made pizza tonight. I love her pizza. They are absolute delicious. I hope everyone has a safe New Years Eve and if you are out and about please watch that other guy. Linda don't drink to much and put TD under the table.

Not that lucky Chuck, they'd put us under the jail and never see day light again. Mike glad to hear your doin' better keep it up buddy!!! Now for the over indulgin', we both are light weights anymore. She don't even drink anymore, and me 2 at most. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't drink either. For the last 15 years I have been in bed before the New Year came in. I figure it will be there when I get up. You all have a good night and sleep well.
