Floyd

It sure has been a blessing to have been able to have Floyd here and make a cross with Creek. I have kept two out of the cross and they are nice.
Floyd is coming on 10 1/2 years old now and I think his heart is that of a 3 year old but his body is not. If you have a top bred female that can get the job done consider Floyd to sire a litter. He like many of the good ones will not last forever. He has really started showing his age but can still sire a nice litter. His bloodline is the best of the best and has proven he can do his part.

2021 Performance Sire

Floyd is paid up for 2021 for the UKC Performance Sire Program.

My plan is to breed Creek to him again this Spring. I really like the way the two pups I kept out of him look and and act. They are also paid up now for the performance program. Anyone who got pups out of that cross may want to make sure your pup is paid up before January 20, 2021 otherwise it costs more to permanently put them in the program.

If all goes right I may also breed Bonz to him before too long. I plan on getting her in the hunts when she is ready and would like to make that cross.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year to everyone. I think most are wanting to get 2020 over with as soon as possible. Better times are coming!

Ten years from now Pink Floyd is going to be a coveted name to have in the pedigree of your dogs. There are some Pink Floyd daughters out there that have produced some fantastic pups and that's not going to change.

Winter

I think the whole country is getting a dose of winter right now. We are having real cold temps and quite a bit of snow. No hunting going on with us now. Feeding the dogs double but keeping them in good shape.

Floyd

We are finally out of the deep freeze we were in and the dogs are all looking good. Floyd is doing very well this winter. He will be 11 in April but is looking good. We intend on making a couple of crosses here with him this year if all goes well.

Nice Male!!

Mark V. sent me a three nice videos of Leroy ( a Floyd and Dizzy male ) locked down treed. Mark said he was three for three in 17 minutes! I have heard he is a really nice hound!

Good luck with him Mark and thanks for the videos. Most of the Floyd pup videos I get sent to me are pretty much the same style of tree dog out of different females.
