She did her job....

We didn't win but I felt like she held her own against 5 Gr.Chs who any one of them could have won any other time maybe under a different judge.
They are getting paid for their opinion and we all like what we like.
She's the most perfect built Walker Gyp I've ever seen and I'm 61. If you like small built dogs. I happen to. My buddy John won't have one unless it's 15 hands tall. Lol
Congrats to the winner,she was very deserving.

It's an aqiured taste. That's what I've always liked.
John Walkers big 95 lb Bone dog will make you think about a big dog. I'd feed that rascal anytime.

I don't care how big they are or what they look like if they can tree a coon the right way, but Jeb sure has made me favor the big gentle giant kind that can outlast any dog night after night!

Thanks again for hooking me up with a great place to hunt. Can't thank you enough. Mr. Steve is a great guy. Every cast member both nights fell in love with that place.

I know those boys that came out to look at Jeb were awe struck
With what a magnificent piece of dog flesh he was.
They want to come back and hunt with him.

Yes sir my buddy Steve is a dude of great character and we sat and talked about yalls hunts before Church yest.
He said yall had guys from Ill to West VA. He said everyone was very polite both nites and that he had a good time, but the competition stuff was a different thing for him.
He grew up hunting everything and loved coon hunting pleasure style. He invited us back to thin some out. Let's plan a hunt soon.

That I will post of Jeb on here that I took Fri with your dad holding him. Your dad has owned more pure coondogs than any man I know personally ( I should know cause we are on our 40th year of knowing and hunting with each other) and he said he's the most balanced cold nosed coondog that trees coons nite after nite he's hunted with.
That's all the validation I need plus seeing it myself.
You and your dad are about the only two guys I would buy a dog without hunting it with yalls stamp of approval.

I highly recommend Mike Shannon and Buddy as a stud.
A couple years ago I wrote a stud ad for a friend Dennis McDowell and his drifter dog. Now the great Walker breeder John Monroe went out and bought a brother to Drifter and is studying him out. He's the backbone of his kennel.
If I put my stamp on a dog, you can bet I've done my homework.

If you live up in Northern Mo. You need to breed to this dog.
There are hundreds of Walker stud dogs. There's no reason to drive across country any more.

Look under team Hillbilly Mac on the stud board. He has more young dogs tearing it up besides Jet.

Chad I ended up selling her cause I just can't train two pups anymore. I thought I could,but my body and mind don't agree.
She went to a Pkc hunter South of me that goes by Big Boy on here. It was a difficult decision, but one that had to be made.
John's is going independent now and as you know treeing his own since a baby pup.
I'm going to push Jet as hard as my 61 year old body and 10 year old 4 wheeler can. Lol

20 years ago, I could train out a pair, but I can't anymore. She will make a top hound I have no doubt. That was a great cross.

One heck of a cross brother...I absolutely love this little hound.
He was re-treeing turn loose coons at bout 5 months and a week or so old. I'm hunting him by himself now and with some dogs that my buddies own that are straight.
When I turn him loose by himself, he leaves faster than your light can keep up with him.
I guess that means he leaves faster than the speed of light, which I think is 186,282 miles per second!! ....that's why his name is 'Jet'!!!lol

Champion win no. 2 for Jet today.

His attention span wasn't where it needed to be, but it was a win. Gonna be April 1st for his next one and then we will have 3 nie shows here close to win two out of three to grand out as a year old pup.
He's bout ready to break bad in the woods in the next month. Been building a tractor shed for the past couple months mostly by myself, so hes been just going on hunts with just him and me. I like training them that way myself. I believe it builds confidence and independence.
Got a beautiful mouth.
I hope to have me a young thoroughbred stud here soon.
