My buddy Corey Moore hunted his Swampmusic Mason pup tonight solo for his first time tonight and he got treed with the meat. Mason is off of Pride and Ruby.

Hoss is a nice young dog that Hobo sent over to run some of these old mountain coons. Last night I dropped him up a branch with about a inch and a half of snow on and temperature in upper twenties. He hit a track and moved it up the branch and came treed on a huge den. On the way in I found coon tracks going into the den. The branch and hollar he was in is full of mountain laurel and down timber but Hoss did a great job of getting the track to the tree and has a beautiful locate the future looks great for Hoss and Hobo

Thanks to everyone that stopped by the weekend to talk about Pride, Hoss and Honeybee, or their hound off of Pride.

Lacy is due to whelp a litter off of Hoss around March 6, 2016.

I also want to thank everyone that asked how my wife was doing...

Congrats to Mike Blackburn for qualifying Swampmusic Ohio Goliath for the UKC World Show. Goliath is just 6 months and 11 days old.

Figured Pride ought to have the Gr.Ch. in front of his name seeing as how he only needed two wins, SO I broke him out of retirement last Saturday and he picked up one of those wins. One to go.

Had a direct son off of southern pines jet. He's been gone a few years now but my goodness did he look like pride and hoss. Was a joy to hunt and he sure had the drive!

I use to have two females off of Jet that I bred to Lobo.

We own some Jet semen, but haven't decided who to use it on yet.

Congrats to Mike Blackburn on picking up a first place win last night on Ch. Swampmusic Honeybee in a Mini Slam last night. She hunted against a Nt and two other reg dogs.
Bee was split treed three times and turned down a possum once.
