Went last night and got treed in a big white oak. All that was shinning down was acorns. Big den tree. Got a new hound I'd like to show ya!

Rebel was born in the kennel of Doug Massengale of Osage, AR. Came here as a stud fee pup at nine weeks old, then went to Ed Barnhouse in Ohio, then Ken Gregory in West Virginia. From there he was hunted and treed coon in eleven states. Now he's made full circle and will live out the rest of his days here in Arkansas.
I've said before, some of the best friends to me and my family have come by the way of these blue hounds.
Words can't express my gratitude to Ken Gregory and Scott Gross for allowing me to own this fine hound!

2013 Grand American, Orangeburg, SC - Cast winner Friday night (25pts from top 20)

2014 West Virginia State Hunt, Grand Nite Champion winner

"I had the good fortune to be a spectator with Ken last night at Southern English Days at the Dan River Coon club in Madison NC. Ken hunted his Rebel dog and gave the English boys a fit! Rebel won his cast (3 english and Rebel) and finished 7th overall in the registered cast. There were 18 casts and over 70 dogs! We hunted in rain, lightning and thunder!!Rebel made no mistakes and showed them how to tree the meat all night long. We had a great cast with good people and they were more than impressed with ole Rebel!!! Congrats Ole Buddy!!!

Had a couple of good hunts last week. Took Jack and Rebel and treed two on the outside in less than an hour.
Reb got the first one by himself, then he and Jack worked out one together.

The next night Reb struck this coon 650 yards deep and ran him over a mile and a half. Great race. Love running coon!!

Thanks Ken! I gotta say I was getting nervous when he was 985 yards and still going after I drove 1/2 mile twards him. Had to work the next day. lol
Luckily he hit the creek and came back my way some.
He can cover some ground!

Those are nice pics and a good video of your hound. I like the tone of his voice on the tree. It was nice to finally meet you at the fall round up. The Sport dog I am hunting now has a 1st and 6th place win toward nite champion in limited hunting and also a HTX. I am enjoying hunting him. Good luck with this upcoming season.

Good Night!

Rock, Johhny Reb and Jack

Hunted with James and Garret Sikes night before last. Treed five times, looked at seven coon. Three doubles, one single and a den.
Each hound made their own tree and a couple together! Not bad for a full moon hunt.
Garrett's Rock dog is a littermate to Lowell Stewart's GRCH J.I. Jane female.
A nice young hound out of, from what I can tell, an outstanding cross.

steve, made 2 trees with charlie sat. nite, 1st tree punch ran and treed with charlie.......2nd tree punch struck with charlie ran it with him some but couldn t finish it with him(real tough track) charlie finished it and done a real nice job......take care.

Sounds like Punch might take after uncle Charlie and come on fast! Deer season is in full swing here. My coon hunting places will be limited for the next few weeks but I've got a couple of spots I can still hunt hopefully without bothering the deer hunters.
