Late 1980's. David Moats, Stan Johnston, Fred Bright and I. We had a good hunt the night before. I had this store for eight years.

It should be easy to recognize these good Bluetick people-took their picture in front of their banner. Another great example of the kind of folks hunting these old Blue Dogs.

Ate breakfast earlier that day at Grandma's in Flora with this Bluetick man. Saw him more than once in this position during the Fall Roundup. Rumor has it that he will talk about two subjects-Blueticks and the SEC. Do you know him? If you don't, then you should. Glad I do now.

Thanks for posting this picture. This is my mom and dad and I'm pretty sure that would be Angel and Misty.

Another photo from this years Fall Roundup. Do you recognize either one of these Bluetick men? One of them first wrote to me several years ago while on active duty and stationed over seas. He has since retired but is still following these Blue dogs. Great to visit with him again.

Posted by cwbluebio on 11-13-2013 11:46 AM:

This site got started with the idea of featuring Blueticks and Bluetick people from all over. An opportunity for you to dig around and post a rare picture that perhaps none of us would have ever seen. I also thought it would be interesting in some cases to have you identify the hounds or the people in the photos. While scrolling back over the pages on here there are some that were either not identified or at least no responses noted. I will attempt to go back and do that. The truth is in some cases I do not know everyone in the photos that I posted. Thanks again to everyone of you who have also posted and or commented on here. I am digging back through old stuff and my problem is that I find something interesting and I'm stuck-sometimes for hours just looking at the pictures or reading but mostly remembering. Time moves so fast and these dogs grow old far to quickly, as well as some of their owners. Thanks for looking and stay tuned, there will be more to come.
