Thanks Dave. Pete speaks highly of you so I appreciate the kind words. Ginny did most of the work. She was unbelievably tolerant and we did all we could to help her do her job. My wife was also a huge help. Trying to keep 12 pups and Ginny healthy and happy, while holding down full time jobs and a farm, with a toddler, would not have been possible without her help.

BTW, I'm told that Chip won the PKC hunt in Trenton last night!

All the pups that were spoken for have been picked up in the last week and everyone has been very happy with their pups.

Still one male and one female available.

Dean I'm trying to put together a bluetick get together at the house in September you are welcome to come down and check out the different blue dogs around the area.
Post some pictures of the remaning pups let people see what they are missing!

Thanks Dave, if I can make it I'd love to join you all.

Thanks Luke for posting the photos. I'll try to get better ones when I can get a helper. The pups don't sit still for long and the blurry photo of the male was because one of the other pups jumped on me as I was crouched down for the shot.

Aside from their lineage, vigor and boldness, something I really like about all these pups is the masculinity of the boys and the femininity of the girls. Never bred dogs before, but it's something I always look for in horses- boys look like boys, girls look like girls.

No all blue pups, but there is one big female with no black markings anywhere on her body. A very symmetrical black marking on her head, tan on her legs and muzzle and the rest of her body is blue tick.

Non at this time. But we have been discussing it and in the near future plan on getting his numbers checked and if all is good we will draw a few straws.

The last 2, Chip and Ginny, pups are still available. One male and one female. The male may be spoken for in a few weeks time, but will be available until then. These are very healthy, active, bold and well socialised pups. They are from genuine coon dawgs. Plenty of references on the dam and sire as well as the quailty of the pups.

pup

Dug a hide out of the freezer today for california chrome. Drug it around the yard a bit then stuck it on the fence post. Heres a video of the results. Nothing special but ok for 10 and a half weeks. Appears to have a little bit of intensity in his eyes. After i put it away he ran around the yard fir the next 20 minutes and kept going back to check that post.

Guys need to jump on these last 2 pups. Im heading out on family vacation this week. If that big headed male is still here when i get back than i might have to go get him and raise him with his brother till there started.

Shouldn't you be working Luke? Just kidding the pup looks good, he is a monster, his sister is acting good, I have a couple coons at the house now for the young dogs and I will see what she thinks of things, she acts good.
Pete she has good mouth and spit them out when she decides to,

Chips back in Ohio

It was nice to see all of the Canadians back in Ohio.Went for alittle pleasure hunt with the dogs .Drank a small amount of whiskey with pollywog,Luke and Fred and Tina sure knows how to feed a group of hungry coonhunters. Fred and I are going to push ol chip in the hunts as time allows.

Posted by LUKE SOLMES on 08-09-2014 01:02 AM:

Always a good time Bobbie!! And thats a big 10 4 on Tinas cookn. From ribs on the open fire in the rain, to fried green tomatos. Cant beat it.

That Mattie female of yours looked pretty tuff to me. If ya ever get sick of her just send her up here cause i got a feeling shed look real good north of the border too.

You and Fred talk it over and keep me posted if yur comin up this fall.
