I was looking through some old pedigrees. I found a set of papers that had Finley River Dan, Finley River Joe, Finley River Lead , and Finley River Bart all in three gen. pedigree

Finley River

Finley River Jock was the first hound I ever owned 21 years ago thanks to my uncle Clyde. When that dog treed there was a coon in the tree!! Most honest coon dog I've ever seen. Didn't do it fast or fancy just treed real live coons!!!

How many times does the above pup go back to Ol' Chief?
With that pedigree, would you consider her a "Finley River bred" dog?
How was Johnson's Danny boy bred?
I'd wish I go go back another 2-3 generations....
What about Sugar Loaf Chief? Finley River Dan? Finley River Pete? Finley River Joe? Hook's Kermit? Table Rock Mundo Jr? White River Rick? FR Banjo? Melody Bill? Did River Bend Flag have any Finley River blood?

Here is the answer to Most of the questions you asked. I hope this helps.

Finley River Dan is a Son of Finley River Chief

Sugar Loaf Chief is a son of Flying Hawk and Richardson's Vicki, Vicki was a daugther of Finley River Chief

Finley River Pete is a son of Finley River Chief and Bell

Finley River Joe is out of Ky. River Jack and Jill. Jack was a son of Finley River Chief. Jil was a daugther of Finley River Buck. Buck was a grand son of Finley River Chief.

River Bend Flag's great grand mother was a daugther of Finley River Chief

Johnson's Danny Boy was a son of Dan and a grandson of Finley River Chief.

Finley River Banjo was out of Finley River Sonny and Mear's Banjo Babe. Sonny was out of Dan and Finley River Kate. Kate was a grand daugther of Finley River Chief and Dan was a son of Finley River Chief.

Table Rock Mundo Jr.'s Great Grandmother was Richarson's Vicki who was a daugther of Finley River Chief.

Finley River hounds

Finley River Pete x Duvals Lone Pine lady was the beginning of the Lone Pine breed of hounds. We have these bloodlines still in our kennels. I was there on the porch when the Lone Pine line came into being.

Sharptooth, what are the bloodlines of Lone Pine Lady. I know she was "PR" bred so there should be at least 3 generations of registered dogs behind her. I think I know but not sure enough to say it.

The name on a dog might not reflect his predominant bloodline.
