hunted shelly and ALi together ALi struck a coon, shelly joined in and they worked him about 20 min. opening here and there shelly treed him ALi was there the hole time hitting the tree every once and a while, they had the meat, ALi is looking better every time I take her, had her running loose yesterday , she fell treed about 200 yards behind the house, me and my wife went to her and she was treed on a big oak tree with a Squirel, I believe she is going to come on good, I had to go get her off tree tree after I brought her home and turned her back loose , had to pen her back up to keep her home, I like one that want,s to go to the woods.....Gerald ALi (TurkxLucy)

hunted last night at woodlawn,Ar. Shelly was really hot after our 2nd turn out and was acting slugish so I withdrew her, this heat is rough...Gerald

hunt tonight

I took Shelly and Ali (turkxlucy) out together tonight, Shelly struck 450 yards in Ali opend right behind her, they drifted a track in and Shelly treed 714 yards in Ali treed about three barks behind her, and she set down with a good steady chop and stayed treed with shelly until I pulled them both off of a pine tree, they had the coon, I should have taken a gun with me but I did not, I am expecting good things out of her, if my guess is right you can expect to see her winning in the hunts by spring, she loves to go hunting, when they treed this coon it was barley getting dark, I am excited about her.....Gerald

Sounds like the dogs are doing great, keep pourin it on them.
We missed all the rain and we are hurtin up here. 107 deg. yesterday and still no end in sight. 91 deg. at night and it does effect the dogs. Just have to stay near big creeks and or a river.

Shelly

hunted shelly last night by her self, she did a good job on a hot dry night, went in and struck 1000 yards drifted a bad track in for about 20 minutes then fell treed, when I got there she was in cut over with tops laying every where, she was treed on small oak left standing in that mess with a big coon in it, about 100 yards further in was another small tree and a big coon in it, she took the first coon up, getting her ready for a hunt this next week end,

My Alibi female (Turk x lucy) is coming on real good, I have high hopes for her.......Gerald

hunted Shelly last night at Lincon co. cha 2 ntch cast, Shelly won her cast but came up 50 points less than the other cast so we did not get a win........Gerald

I think 4. I did not qualify one myself. I think they are all out of Turk. I hope that helps.
